Both teams were poor, complete lack of concentration from both teams with numerous passes being misplaced. There keeper gifted us the lead then Furman gifted them a point. We had 60 % of the game and created 2 or 3 good chances max. If we are to finish any where near the top half we need to create a hell of a lot more chances. On a brighter note we looked stronger at the back and should have kept a clean sheet (although Walsall were crap).

I would take this kid over Leon Clarke any day of the week. He looks to have good technical ability,worked hard off the ball,strong ( for his size) when holding up the ball and most importantly, linked well with Simpson. Made a nice change to see the two of them working for each other.

For me Kuqi, simpson, tonk, bunn. we need goals and no matter what you think about kuqi, he can get them. Simpson played very well when we played him behind the main striker. Bunn has played well when ive seen him, maybe he could work well as an impact sub, Same really with tonk, could replace kuqi when he needs a rest.

Dickov's right, he's got the commitment and the right attitude and is looking to bring in the right type of players. He just needs to learn from his mistakes. I agree that he'd benefit from having an experienced assistant next to him. What's Peter Reid doing these days? Get him in as an advisor for 6 months next season, give Paul the benefit of his experience and guide him to ironing out his faults. Or maybe even Royle could do the trick.

Whats the point of getting an advisor when you could have them for the job?
