Apologies if I am repeating anything here, but looking at the Lancaster Club website, it looks a pretty good purchase to me. http://www.lancasterclub.co.uk/tour.html Check out the aerial photo for how much land there is. Also look at the existing facilities. Yes I am a Failsworthian (?), or as some of you are calling me a 'plastic manc', but I feel the wish list that this topic has turned into is quite humourus, oooh what about this site? what about that one, that's ideal! Why don't we buy that land? I am sure the TTA didn't just put a pin in a map of the North West and select The Lancaster Club. Yeah, I can see the logic in this. From a completely selfish point of view I would love a move to Failsworth. A short stroll to the Latics would be nice.

I am very pleased with the new shirt. It is a tighter fit, and shorter too, so I recommend that you throw it over your head in the shop to check the fit. It is also good to see that they have contiued to use hot models on the website (the guy holding the shirt). No, I'm not gay... it's me!

The all burgundy kit was during the CM era, it was the away kit for 2002/03 season. I was told by someone at the club at the time that it was chosen as the Torag logo was burgundy at that time. However, I do agree with the point made that we shouldn't attach a negative connotation to any colour, we would soon run out of options! However, that all burgundy kit just reeks of 'Torag' to me. Yuck

It's interesting that a few people on here like the burgundy kit, but do you realise the origins of the colour at the club? It was the the corporate colour of a certain company owned by a certain chap that is not too popular. Still in favour?

On the looky likey issue I was thinking the same thing, both our home and away kits for next season look like Chelsea's kits from last season. Not a bad thing, they are my second team anyway. I want a blue, white and tangerine home kit next year though please.
