Don't let it get to you League One.

Yard dog's sole purpose is to get people angry and to rabble rouse.

I personally enjoy his posts because it's fascinating how someone can constantly view everything in such a negative way. Just like when we all see a tackle and some say it's fair and others say it's a red card.

I do wonder though why yarddog puts himself through it if it bothers him this much as I would definitely find something else to do.

I hope it is just Latics that gives him this negative attitude and not life in general.  Try and praise something, anything, it really does make you feel better :)

People can be overly positive. That’s just as tedious to be honest.

Sat with the Athleticos last night brought about 8 lads down there as well. I’ve been critical of the atmosphere but they have a right battle to get fans going.

atmosphere started off well, fans got bored and ended up fighting each other. Was like a royal rumble at one point. Plenty like to stand with them but just prat about.

cameron even had to stop drumming to sort them all out.

What caused the fighting amongst them ?

So you've never heard of the exceptional youth right winger Alfie Atherton, he's strong, quick, terrific work rate, can pass and cross a ball, clever and can score goals.  As ready to start a game as I've  ever seen as he has the self confidence of knowing he's good.

The only reason he's not selected is MM won't play 442.

MM will play 442, he did it against Boreham Wood and we were crap.

He can’t play 442, we don’t have two central midfield players capable to play. We also drop one of our better players who is a centre back. We are trusting two wide players in Walker and Atherton with about 2 sub appearances between them to be our outlets and make up for the above shortfalls.

It’s perfectly logical why MM won’t do it, you know, considering we are 5th in the league with a dysfunctional squad.

  4. The football is shit, it’s not the football MM wants to play, he has literally said that himself. But considering since Unsworth has left we have been either playoff form, or in the playoffs, then I don’t see why he should change it.

First 15 mins we knocked it around nicely yesterday, best I have seen us play. Garner should have scored.

I won't give any love to repeated

    turgid home perfornces.

Would you continue loving  a restaurant who served up sub standard meals at £20 or even if they offered you a watered down discount?

We have the ingredients (wingers) who can change the menu to be much more appetising, but the chef prefers bland hard to swallow  products.

We have Walker and no other recognised fit winger BP. How can we change to playing with wingers ? Especially with Green out.

  6. We have to play 3 centre backs as we are overloaded with centre backs, we don’t have a competent midfield combination for either a 2 or a 3, hence McGahey plays the holding role and we have no wide players. We have overloaded on strikers so we also can’t play wide players as it means a striker drops out, but even if we wanted to we don’t have the wide players to do it.

People just need to accept we are a compact team that will try and battle in games. We will just hope the quality of the strikers see us over the line.

How many goals have the wing backs scored? The centre backs ? Only Sheron has chipped in with a few goals from midfield. It’s pretty poor really.

Until we get the balance of the squad correct, this is us. The crazy thing is, it might even be enough to get out this shit league.

We thinking Norwood Garner up top?

If Bromley are cloggers I really think it might be worth throwing Dallas in from the start with his pace and movement, just risky him and Norwood as both probably aren’t fully fit yet.

Also Garner has been great and is such a nuisance up there.

Has Dallas moved quickly since he’s been here ? Looks like he’s running through mud.

I'd play conlon behind Sheron and Hammond. I'd have Sheron and Hammond effectively playing as a number 10s picking up second balls. If you look at the first goal on Tuesday it comes about from Sheron winning a second ball gish up the pitch knocking it on to Garner and him using his experience and doing the rest. With 2 upfront and Sheron and Hammond high up the pitch you can really press teams high up the pitch centrally and push them back. Keep doing it I say.

If we are going to persist with the way we play, which we obviously will do, then we have ensure we are consistently winning the 2nd ball. Kidderminster was frustrating as we hardly won any, the ball was coming straight back at us each time.

You sent a few emails. They weren't replied to. New management team came in, nobodybreached out to you. You spat your dummy out and constantly mention about then giving tips to other teams. Sounds bitter

Weird behaviour from you. The mods have even picked you up on it a few times. Leave the guy alone.

He annoyed the club doesn’t respond to him on his recommendation. I’m annoyed the club play Nathan Sheron. Another poster is annoyed Norwood doesn’t celebrate. We all get pissed off and needlessly continue to voice our opinion, which others don’t agree with. But just leave the man alone at this point. He’s blocked you, you know that, so don’t respond.

I was a bit perplexed at the amount of fans who were dismissive of us signing Garner tbh, gives us some proper aggression up front and he's a classy finisher. Two fantastic finishes last night

Can’t be denied that he was a strange signing at the time, Mellon even agrees that fans would think that.

Bit after he signed, both Nuttall and Kurt departed. Then Norwood and Dallas got injured, and Garner stepped up, thankfully.

Looking forward to seeing Garner and Norwood up top, though I have concerns about their ages. But, they don’t play like two OAPs to be fair.

Eh- he praised Magehy, he didn’t say anything about it being the best performance for any midfielder all season. Strange that our ‘best’ midfielder isn’t a consistent starter. .

Sheron -  who you completely won’t have, (which is fine) played again in a winning side.

I was half asleep was listening to the post match interview this am, but he said something along the lines of it being the best central midfield performance he’s seen since being here.

I pile in on the midfield, I’ve also given them credit after Maidenhead and Yesterday. The difference is they pressed and Hammond and Sheron played further up the pitch, they also won second balls, McGahey in particular won a fair few second balls.

Sheron still knocks it up the pitch for no reason. Hammond still not great when on the ball. Both put effort in yesterday, the minimum expectation.

McGahey was the big difference yesterday for me.

Nice to see I’m not completely clueless. MM agrees. Stated that the performance from McGahey best he’s seen from a CM since being here.

Worrying when a CB is your

best central midfielder, but there we go.

Where is all the criticism for our absolutely shit midfield- who by the way have just contributed to 9- yes 9 unbeaten away from home.

Do we only pile in on them when we lose, and give them no credit when we win???
