The anti moore stuff that will be flying about from here there, and everywhere tomorrow - will be just the kick up the arse people who dont generally sing at home games, but do aways - to start joining in the pro latics stuff Cant say i've looked forward to a game as much as this one in a long time. It's not the Ronnie factor for me. It's the chance to go top on our own patch.

It's those type of places you need to try and start these chants off. Huddersfield away, et all would never catch on. The smaller followings, tend to be the games new chants emerge from. Especially when there's biggish train, and car followings were people have been drinking since about 10am (or before!)

we also got locked out this season at Blackpool. The Hull game. Ah the memories. What an interesting day that was. Sitting ducks stood on the away end terrace as we got held in for ten minutes. 2p's coins came flying over by the dozen, from outside. I spoke with a lad I met called Todd going to Forest away last season. He ran on the pitch and was one of a few who ran on the pitch, who got kicked out (suprising they caught so few when you consider how many people ran on after every Latics goal). He'd waited outside the entire game for his mates to come out, so they could walk back to the train station. The final whistle came, and he couldnt understand why no Latics were coming out. He informed me, there was about 200 Hull fans who'd come around to the away end, and there he was on his "Jack" Jones............ Said he needed a sudden change of underwear, as the police tried clearing them from outside the away end down to a pub, as he somehow managed to keep his head down, get back to the station and avoid a kicking

Tell me about it. Just when you think they're improving, they go and show you that bar the odd decent one. On the whole - they are jobsworths. 5 Stewards and a copper for one bloke, at the Wolves game. All because he wouldnt sit down. It'll be funny if and when we get to a crunch game later on in the season, where a win would take us up.

At least there's not been sweets flying down this season. You should count yourself lucky. We were getting pelted by his mob's young un's, the last few years. ;) Bloody 'ooligans

Funniest chant would be to do a Forest at home last season. "We Want Ronnie Out......" "Moore Out" ;)

I heard a 70's song from the Chaddy on the train home from Forest last season. The name of the song slips my mind now. I think it either had the name, Harlem or Henrietta in the title. It was Forest last year, and after the state I was in. I'm suprised I can even remember hearing a song that day

Aye - That's the one. He actually lives in Royton I believe. The owner of said bookies (big Irish bloke - always smoking a cigar *dont they all? ;) *) is always keen to tell me how he made his fortune by betting on Latics himself. He had a hefty amount of 'that wednesday game', and said he stood on the terraces shaking like a sh1ttin dog when that penalty was being took. Says he still doesnt know how we won that game, but has had a soft spot for Latics ever since.

What about when we sent Blackpool down. 1999/00 season. Ryan Sugden scored a 90th minute equaliser at the Rocky Road End Oh, they were gutted. It went from a conga in the away end one minute, to hundreds of grown men crying. How the paddock made them feel better that day I still remember running down to the front, and getting squashed by a load of 'meatheads'. Infact in the last game of the season, after they'd been relegated against us. They were 2-0 up against Chesterfield with ten minutes to go. David Reeves (Remember him), scored a 90th minute equaliser against them. So we only stopped them suffering an even worse heartache -------- There was also the time Carl Serrant threw his shirt into the Lookers. I jumped up, had hold of it by the finger tips, but before I could clench my fist, some grown man yanked it from me and ran off into the distance. Think it was the game against Burnley. About 97'/98 at a guess *shakes fist* 'Ye Barsteward'

They are all good banners. Particularly like Stevie's. I like Chaddymatt's as well. Apart from that bit in red

A quick thank you to all those who sent me running for the toilets every two minutes with various updates. My boss thinks i've got a worse bladder than a pensioner Delighted with the win. Not the easiest of places to go, especially seeing as they havent lost in a fair while. Since before christmas I believe. Werent we the last team to beat them?

On Marland. Just around the corner from Springfield Park. There's still a fair few Latics around these parts though. One being a lad who works in the bookies on Sudden. Be it, he never goes - apart from Tuesday night games. My Uncle lives near that BP Garage in Norden.

Richard. Why dont you pack C-O-O in, as it's not working out. Just leave a link that takes anyone going there to here. I know they have asked for some help moderating etc, on here, and your pretty in the know when it comes to forums, etc. So i'm sure they could let you on board. ;)

"Nothing to do with footy goes here?" If it's not Latics related, then were does it go? Surely it could be for any sport including football that isnt Latics? i.e England, etc. Just a thought

The best clip by far doing the rounds in the summer, and for those Latics who've only just got computers and missed the whole episode, which caused more pandemonium and Hysteria than if Michelle Marsh had stripped naked at half time. Prepare to see what the masses wanted coming to BP in the summer. The most loved player to never kick a 1st team ball for us.
