KTF Believe?
-
Yesssssss.
BTW I never said that we should be scared of anybody, typical Latics fan mentality.
This year is going to be different, much much different!
-
Ideally 2 players for every position (right wing) now we all know Philly is an inside forward/strikerDo we need a winger in on loan?
Granted Montano is in very poor form, but we have Sidney to replace him.
Interesting.....
-
Who will be totally pissed off if we don't start getting 3 points in most of the League matches from now until the New Year? Realistically there seems to be only Peterborough to be frightened of in this division
-
Time for the old screwdriver in the pocket, me thinks!I think that's totally different and is a bug bear with me
...........you are right in what you say but I think it's common courtesy to allow ( where possible ) people to park their car outside their own house.
I live on a cul de sac of 10 houses all down one side of the street, there are no houses on the other side and plenty of room for non residents to park, however when I come home sometimes there's hardly any cars at all except one that is invariably parked right outside my house and it winds me up.
I would never park outside a neighbours house if there was room on the other side and always ask our visitors to do the same!

Does Charlie talk funny too?

JPT Home v. Chesterfield is Tuesday 10th Dec £10 UNRESERVED SEATING in Main Stand & Chaddy- Apart from mine obviously!
-
In all fairness, it is a bit gutting as it is a lovely ground but i'm sure Oldham will be a wicked day Yeah the fear of the draws is what makes the journey more exciting
Great clips Max and brilliant music but lose the funny accent mate
-
Either smith or Rodgers can't really see LJ going 3 at the back
As per Radio Manc, Korey is right back.
I would love us to try 3 at the back but not tonight, we need Mills and Lanzoni for that system.
-
It's a fair comment rendered nonsense due to the absolutely terrible rendering of your text to Comic Sans halfway through.
Great draw for us, probably the best we could have got. Don't :censored: this one up Latics. I want you to drag their carcass around like a council estate rogue dog who'd eaten nothing but micro chips and skips would do.
Oooooohhhhhh can you feel it, Shanks, coz I can!

This competition is such a blight on football that it's never had a match played on a Saturday.
It is the equivalent for league 1 and 2 teams of the F A Cup, that wonderful competition which since the 1988/89 season has been won by Liverpool, The Filth, Chelsea and Arsenal ohhh and once by Everton, Spurs and :censored:ty. The only 'outsiders' that have won it in that 25 year period are those 'wonderful clubs' of Wigan, bankrolled by a multimillionaire and Portsmouth, bankrolled by their creditors, the taxman and many various foreign owners!
-
At home v Chesterfield is scheduled for the week commencing Dec 9th, by the way, so probably Tuesday 10th, another 5-1 I reckon
-
I'll give you a clue, they have a really fat teletubby manager who deserves to get a hard time at BP
-
Oooohhhhhh yesss, can you feel it?
-
It seems that Bristol City will be 'compromising' his contract in the New Year, does that mean 'sacked?'
I find this move a bit strange because Preston don't seem to use a midfield at all.
-
Finish work at 5 in shaw, going to go straight from work, what are the chances of me getting there in time?
Daniel, I love your Filth fan/ Armchair montage , how do I get a copy please?

Sheehan looked like he was losing it in the second half, for about 50 bloody minutes!Sheehan

all well made points... but the type of player you describe is the type of player wes is, just got coached out of him with dickov - he's now getting back to what we saw in him his first season with latics!
The type of player that you say Wes WAS, not is, and in my opinion, he wasn't, isn't and will never be good enough, sorry let us agree to disagree, but I think he was perhaps good enough for Dickov, but he is holding back LJ's team development. We are trying to play a high pressing game, which I agree Wes is good for, but he has to be able to play a simple forward or square pass, once he draws his man. It is quite simple to do this, it just requires a bit of composure, e.g. Connor Brown last night had it to set up 1 of the late goals, even bloody Sidney had it, they are getting it, why isn't Wes. If Wes does, I will stand up and applaud him but, if he carries on, not getting it, then he should be out of the door, probably soon! Lets stop boring others with this!

main reason im probably sticking up for wes is he is my kind of player, give anything for the club and always put his body on the line - we didn't score 5 because wes wasn't playing chaddy smoker! rodgers filled in his position and probably made just as many backward passes as wes would have... also our last goal contained about 35 passes, 15 or so of them going backwards but it got us the goal??
Yes I might agree with that but I don't remember any of those passes being from an unmarked position back to a team mate who has opposition players around him, they were constructive passes using the 'pass and move' idea which most good teams utilise AND which I totally buy into. My type of player puts his body on the line but also on occasions passes forward/ shoots/ lays it on a plate for an unmarked team mate to score etc and doesn't just lay it on the line! I never said we scored 5 because Wes wasn't playing that was your inference, BUT we did score 5 didn't we? Even bloody Sidney laid 1 on a plate last night and he is a headless chicken who, by the way, I would pay to watch every game, would you? Now he is my type of player, NOT in midfield though
-
nothing, but Smith impresses me every time I see him. The amount of times he got the ball in a tight space, turned his man and passed the ball forward was as good as any League One or Championship player. Still amazes me how we've got him for 2 years.
Smith oozes quality every time I see him! Too good for League 1, totally agree but DP was superb too yesterday and just shaded it.
-
Well done JCH, also for getting Sidney out of the way as well.
I noticed that and it surprised me too, pleasantly! (note: always get behind a big guy before you mouth it off!)
-
As he isn't playing, hopefully you're able to put your efforts into supporting the team rather than compiling statistics to use in an argument against our own players.
I did and guess what, we scored 5
-
That was probably the best all round display I've seen from a Latics stiker for many a year, reminded me of Andy Ritchie.
Totally agree

Bloody typical, you start a thread about expecting us to start winning in the League and get replies from a couple who do not understand the English language, pointing out negatives.
