  1. Apologies for ignorance here but is the Community Trust Player of the Season a 'does what it says on the tin' award (ie rewards players for their community work rather than being anything to do with the football side of things)? If so, good work Anton - that's genuine btw, if you can be frozen out for so long and still go above and beyond what's required in your job description, full marks to him.
  2. Another appalling legacy of the Chris Moore era. The money he threw at the team meant we were deprived of the opportunity to build a midfield around Rickers and Boshell. Just think where we could be now...
  3. I agree that Wes deserves it. He should also walk the player of the season awards if he carries on like he has been since October. It's often said (it was said of Duxbury) that his type is a "manager's player" because we fans don't appreciate the value of what he brings to the team. I think that's wrong in Wes's case. People can see how important he is off the ball - and even on the ball he knows his limits but Johnson has got him driving forward more than he ever did before. Having said that, even though it's unfair on Wes and even if it's only based on 45 minutes out of 31 days, player of the month is surely Gary Harkins. That second half against Peterborough was why we watch football. It's not just for his assists and goals but for the entertainment. Nicking the ball inside his own box and strolling past two opponents is worth the award on its own. As is injuring an opponent simply by being too skillful for him. Or putting someone on the floor with his arse. The list of quality things he did (at walking pace!!) in that game goes on.
  4. Chaddy only tonight longtimeblue. Wolves have the big section of RRE, small section closed.
  5. Not sure how the formatting will come out here but I think this is accurate for every game this century (ie not Ritchie's whole record, just games since 1/1/00). Wadsworth Mick 29 - 12 - 10 - 7 - 46 - 1.5862 Dowie Iain 67 - 27 - 24 - 16 - 105 - 1.5672 Sheridan John 129 - 54 - 38 - 37 - 200 - 1.5504 Moore Ronnie 58 - 22 - 15 - 21 - 81 - 1.3966 Ritchie Andy 85 - 31 - 23 - 31 - 116 - 1.3647 Philliskirk Tony 7 - 3 - 0 - 4 - 9 - 1.2857 Talbot Brian 45 - 14 - 13 - 18 - 55 - 1.2222 Johnson Lee 24 - 8 - 5 - 11 - 29 - 1.2083 Penney Dave 45 - 13 - 13 - 19 - 52 - 1.1556 Sheridan/Eyres 13 - 3 - 6 - 4 - 15 - 1.1538 Dickov Paul 122 - 34 - 35 - 53 - 137 - 1.123 Urmson Billy 1 - 0 - 1 - 0 - 1 - 1 Royle Joe 9 - 1 - 4 - 4 - 7 - 0.7778 Gray Martin 1 - 0 - 0 - 1 - 0 - 0 Guess it can be used to prove anything. More money means a more successful team? Shez is god? (although his record at Plymouth would look almost identical to Johnson's here) Ronnie was treated harshly? Lose the next two league games and LJ drops below Penney and Dickov on that table. Win them and he's almost overtaking Ritchie. [formatting massive failure...]
