  1. even a poor korey is a better option than dunfield or kissock for that matter, one decent midfielder in the loan window may have been a better option than taking a punt on 2 or 3 who are unlikely to push our regular starters.
  2. would it be that bad are we not on a similar level to rochdale now ? if we go down nothing will change financially some have even claimed crowds will go up, the wages we are paying our squad players isnt far off what players in the conference, it makes you wonder where our level in the football league is I always thought we had a club that could be sustainable in the Championship but maybe league 2 is where we should be, budget, facilities and home gates would probably confirm that.
  3. i think it pretty obvious with so much left to do, january was being muted but it may well be longer who knows.
  4. yes I feel worse now than when we went through administration, then I had optimism now thinking about where we are just fills me with dread, how is anything going to change ? its fair to say there isnt going to be any great change to the finances of the club regardless of money generated through cup runs or player sales, any player who shows any improvement is going to be sold on so its difficult to see how any manager is going to be able to build a team with the constraints he is under, people may read it as negativity but I suppose after years of unwaivered loyalty I am beginning to question myself.
  5. ^^^^^ hopefully - steve 'think my heads gonna explode' evans.
  6. if we could score more than a goal a game you may have a point but whichever way you look at it we struggle up top in the lesgue, think turner could be the answer would of liked to see him and jch given a run but with the team under pressure it may not happen and may have a detrimental effect on his development.
  7. if we win by 2 clear goals I will give 10 pound to playershare.
  8. 100k was being banded about I have heard there are plenty of teams including from the championship watching him on a regular basis now. 2k a week would be 3 times as much as the club would pay a player from non league but your probably right he would prob want around 2k to commit full time.
  9. id liked to have seen him whether we could afford him who knows.
  10. what about murrays stupid comments about gregory the lad at halifax who banged in another hatrick on saturday 'aint better than what we already have' no wonder he has been moved sideways.
  11. john pritchards caught my eye, not jack truelove no there is a young lad at left back he is a first year scholar but his name escapes me came on in the reserve game against shrewsbury for mellor looks a nice prospect.
  12. seen him for the reserves bit lightweight but can pick a pass def has ability came on and played down the left but cant see him getting into the team, impressed when he came on against city when they beat us at BP but again like Bove and Pritchard and the young lad at left back cant think of his name think he is one for the future.
  13. I want nothing more than to stay up that goes without saying and regards to the talent we have the table dont lie, Harkins aside the rest dont do it for me and without harkins on Saturday we would of been dire, if we win tomorrow and the players step up I will hold my hands up but im afraid it will be another I told you so, whilst we all discuss the next round of excuses from the gaffer. I may be talking bollocks but ive said the same thing since the start of the year we are in trouble, its only now others are beginning to see it.
  14. you have an opinion the same as anybody but to claim what I say is clearly bollocks takes the biscuit, ive never pretended to be the biggest LJ fan I think he is full of it, no doubt in the same way that you do about me but if you think we have any quality left in that squad you are clearly deluded, ive been home and away all season follow the reserve and youth teams and Im telling you now we are in trouble, trying to justify the sale of tarky by telling me the board didnt want him 12 month ago just reinforces my point that we are being led by a bunch of clowns, they no doubt fell for LJ's patter in the interview in the same way they fell for Brentfords gentlemans agreement, I am negative because its very difficult to be positive new contracts handed out for those who dont deserve them, players allowed to leave for a pittance I could go on again but soon you may wake up and smell the coffee although it may take next seasons fixture list is to come out and we have exeter away on a cold november night.
  15. point taken but anyone with an ounce of knowledge know the lad will make it granted they havent beat much but he has slotted in nicely and will be a regular till the end of the season of whats left of us how many if any would get on bench at brentford never mind the starting 11 ? players with ability dont seem to fit in with the blueprint at bp.
  16. one flaw brown cant cross a ball but give it a go.
  17. looks like im not alone with my thoughts then afterall only been going 30 years but this is about as low as its been, think the difference is in the past ive always had hope but the way things have panned out this season have proved to me that we have zero ambition, dread to think where we would be without cup runs and assets to sell which is where we may be next season.
  18. i will plenty of my 92 in there to do and some good away days so every cloud eh..... not quite what my expectations where for the season but there you go.
  19. okay will shut up maybe at 10pm tomorrow you may have some of my reservations so for now will let you all chat about our young dynamic manager and the 4 year plan he has for us, alternatively you can see through all the bull:censored: and see what a mess our clubs in like I do but each to there own.
  20. go on then ive removed my laces and belt for the day but please just remind me what are the positives we are focussing on ?
  21. that one would be the same as charlies managed in the same period of time.
  22. IMO Bove is miles away from the first team needs at least another season in the reserves wouldnt be able to stand up to the physical nature of league 1 football, centre halfs woul;d have him in there pocket. Watched him in the reserves against experianced lumps and he comes off second best, keep him to the youth team and step him up next season.
