We've already done this - O'Grady is, pound for pound, our worst ever striker.
Never has someone so bad started so many games.
Give over

Wasn’t Fane suspended for slagging off his teammates in French?

Placide captained Haiti to a memorable 2-1 Gold Cup win over 2014 World Cup quarter finalists Costa Rica in the early hours of the morning. Duckens Nazon equalised from the spot for the Haitians.

Mike, you’ve spent the day demanding proof. Two trusted posters have now offered it to you but you don’t seem to be taking them up on their offers. Why is that?

Not disbelieving what you know but you for those who haven't had this first hand experience, it's difficult to just blindly accept and all we can do is question the subject.
Accept the offer of evidence...

But what the f*ck is this "it" that you expect me to believe?
So far, all you've put forward is anecdotal evidence and expect people to accept it as gospel.
State clearly your evidence but don't just push Scholes' comments as proof positive because, from my perspective, he was using the "interference" argument to cover his managerial shortcomings.

A full-back will never get me massively giddy as a signing but this seems a genuinely great bit of business. Three POTS awards at a club in our quartet of the league last season isn’t to be sniffed at. Well done to all involved

Mistake this imo.

Missile, Hamer and Nepo are the only 3 currently on the books who I want anywhere near the starting 11 for the first game, our squad is dogshit. Maybe O’Grady too (I know this won’t go down well) if we can get a good youngster on loan to partner him.
Iacovitti at full-back, Christ alive...

One of the top leagues in Europe ? Come on !!
FWIW. I like him as a player. I think he’s a bell end. Would I have liked to have kept him ? Fucking right I would !
Not top 5 obviously but it’s a very good League

Would he be playing for Shamrock if PSG or Inter were options?
Ha. I can guarantee multiple League One clubs would’ve taken him on.

They got relegated that year didn’t they....
As Eyresy is always saying, it’s possible to have a good individual season for a poor overall team...

So it's his attitude?
No. He moved to shamrock to be close to his family.

You don't think that going from bossing it in a top league to scrabbling around in a pub league is a sign of failure?
‘Scrambling round’ in that league has earned him a call-up to a national side with many Premier League players.
He made a choice to drop down a level to be more comfortable back home, it’s nothing to do with his ability.

You wouldn’t be exaggerating with the use off bossed it to suit your argument now would you Ryan ? Would it not be more accurate to say competed ?
Cambuur fans loved him and desperately wanted him on loan for another year, read some of the comments from them here :https://www.sportsjoe.ie/football/why-blackburn-rovers-are-fools-to-let-jack-byrne-go-according-to-sc-cambuur-fans-108373.
He was 19 playing week in week out (barring a few injuries he suffered) in one of the top leagues in Europe. How that’s considered a footballing failure is beyond me when I look at the absolute state of the careers some of our players have had...

So it’s only our managers fault he’s failed everywhere?
Its rubbish this. Some people just can’t be managed, regardless of the skill and personality of the manager.
He’ll fail again.
The lad bossed it in the Eredivisie.
If he is a failure then what are the rest of our current squad?

So how does the FFP rules work then, I thought it was a only a certain % of turn over that can be spent on players wages.
Given their gates and other income from sponsorship etc I wouldn't think its that big!!!
The financial regulations at our level are an absolute myth. SCMP rules state that owner donations and capital injections count as ‘income’.

I understand but you are coming to the stadium to watch Oldham Athletic, you shouldn’t park on locations like B&Q with this intention its prohibited. Surely if you are going to watch Oldham you expect to use car parks provided by the club.
Yeah I agree increasing the standard ticket price and the carer situation is a poor move.

Given that this group clearly (for me) want to push him out, then I think it would be negligent not to scrutinise them to the same degree as AL.
How is that clear at this stage?

How would you define the difference between a Manager and a Head Coach? Manager signs players he wants, picks his team and tactics, Head Coach just coaches a team of players signed by owner and has less say in team and tactics?
The head coach should still have complete autonomy over team selection and tactics.
A head coach is often picked based on the style of football they employ fitting the club philosophy/identity, but specific tactical decisions should still rest with them without fear of interference from above.
Abdallah, currently, is not following the model.
Our Worst Ever Striker

Steve Kabba stands out as one for being completely devoid of footballing ability.
Billy McKay with his 0 goals and 0 assists from 20 League starts and 6 sub appearances has to be the worst record in the club’s entire history for a striker...
