FFS Ryan. So you actually think his attitude was good do you?

Did you ever go to any games he played in?

His attutudeI stared you in the face most weeks!

    I'll leave it there.....

He was one of the most emotional at full-time at Northampton, visibly gutted.

Undoubtably capable of a strop, as countless top players are, but the lad cared.

I’m guessing Klok only made so few appearances due to being fucking garbage 😩😳

    Exactly! 😂

Point being that there are one million reasons as to why a player might not cement themselves into a first-team at a club, bad attitude is just one of those many many reasons

  3. Standing out as the best player in the country which has earned him ROI call-up...

Out of the 8 other midfielders in the Irish squad only Alan Judge of Ipswich plays below Championship level. The majority of the rest ply their trade in the PL, so it's no mean feat...

Well he was nowt special then.  At best mid table League One contrary to some of the claims of impending greatness that have followed him around.

I’d say he was upper League One level given that Wigan are a comfortable Championship side with virtually the same squad as when Jack left them.

An upper League One standard midfielder, who’s just 23 so has a bit of time to further develop, is something we can only dream of going into the new season...

    That is supporting evidence.

A lack of appearances is evidence? Ha!

I’m done here as clearly none of you have any proof that he’s a ‘bad egg’. Ridiculous conclusion to draw based on the number of football games he’s played.

There are many many reasons, other than attitude, why it sometimes doesn’t work out for footballers at certain clubs.

Were Kevin De Bruyne and Mo Salah #badeggs at Chelsea with a combined 16 appearances in 4 years?

Did Marc Klok only make 6 appearances in 14 months for Ross County because he was a bad influence in the dressing room?

So he wasn't good enough for Wigan who at the time were in League one?

    Correct.

Did you see their midfield at the time? Powell, Power, Jacobs etc (and I’m probably forgetting some others) - they had an unbelievably good squad for that level. Championship standard.

Why do you think he has been unable to establish himself at a succession of clubs?

Not good enough for City or Wigan and precarious living conditions whilst at Kilmarnock meant he took a step down to go back home where he’d be comfortable and able to enjoy his football.

Plenty of lads with brilliant attitudes go through umpteen clubs. It’s ridiculous to suggest that the number of clubs a footballer has played for is in anyway linked to attitude.

It will be for some players, obviously. But as a general rule? Nah.

In 3 years since joining Blackburn he has made 59 appearances across 5 clubs (42 of them for us!!) and is currently at Shamrock Rovers.....tells you everything you need to know about his attitude because his talent is unquestioned.

Does it? Like I’ve already said, I’d like some #Proof.

  9. I just don’t get how you couldn’t support the Phoenix club if it ever came to that. Do you even like football?

So long as there’s a team playing in royal blue at Boundary Park that’ll still be my OAFC💙. This club is about making special memories with your close mates and family like at Fulham away - the name of the limited company is completely irrelevant...

Well that's wrong because he burnt his bridges with the normally mild mannered Paul Cook at Wigan very early on who didn't want him anywhere near the first team squad because he was a bad egg.

Well that’s just wrong isn’t it.

Please provide me with proof of Paul Cook, or any of the gaffers of the aforementioned clubs, criticising Jack’s attitude. Just one piece of evidence.

So it was down to a lack of talent?

Compared to the midfielders Wigan have/had in Powell, Jacobs and Max Power, yes. That doesn’t mean he isn’t a superb player at league one level.

You mean like Wigan, Blackburn, Kilmarnock and us who all shipped him off-the lad has had umpteen opportunities and blown it every time thus far.

FFS wind it in with this bollocks. None of those clubs, other than us, offloaded him because he was a ‘bad egg’.

Reorganisation is an interesting one for me. If he discovered the place was a mess, how can he trust the staff who were party to hiding that mess? Would you want to bring in people you trust, such as family/close friends? I personally dont see how a new owner changing staff of an unsuccessful company, to try to improve that company and turn it around and make it more efficient is a problem. The problem he has had is the way he has removed those staff, but thats a legal issue hes currently paying for.

I also think he outlines a plan to bring in young talent, and unknown foreign talent for very little, and then hope to hit the jackpot in selling them up the pyramid. This hasn't quite worked out as yet, but that could change? We all had suspicions of his plans re manager interference and foreign imports, but again he states his plan for a head coach and world wide talent. He is trying an unpopular approach, which is currently very unsuccessful. He should just not lie about it as he has previously, and then he may get somewhere.

Until he proves his "plan" he will still be unpopular amongst the fan base.

It's a tickling of the bellies of a tiny minority of fans who've been demanding to have their bellies tickled for two months.

Meanwhile the rest of us feel no more confidence that anything will change or that we'll have a good chance of going up next season.

Yet again, what a missed opportunity.

Imagine what might have been achieved over these two months had we kept it simple and been demanding decent early signings & a full staff of competent football and non football people in place?

Instead those demanding gas bills & words have just given him an easy "look, I've done some of what you asked" without having to do much at all.

I say might have been achieved because I suspect he wouldn't have done a lot, if any, of such genuinely important stuff.

After the Trust's letter someone said "let's imagine we're a few months ahead and he's done none of that, now what?"

That's where we could have been now. Instead he's just fobbed people off and bought himself a few more months.
