Yep. Great player from the showing today.
The kind of player rhys murphy needs to play the balls onto his good runs
-
Rather have that Matt Palmer ?
-
They were both at fault, why on earth was Coleman stood where he was? Clarke had an open net to roll the ball into!
You mean when he came out to narrow the angle? No blame at all for Coleman there
-
Co
Of course the goalkeeper was at fault
Grow up. At fault for making James Wilson let the ball bounce, again, instead of clearing the and letting the defender in behind?
-
No but I'm complaining about the same piss poor problems at the back and up top which STILL haven't been solved.
I'd sell Wilson and use that money for a bruiser from league 2 or the conference who can win a header and bully a big striker. Most teams only have 1
-
Well does anybody still think Coleman is the answer? .......kicking atrocious , flapping at crosses and as for the goal. Good job it wasn't Cornell
I think Cornell is :censored:. But I still wouldn't have blamed him for James Wilson and his pathetic attempts at defending
-
We created some great chances, attacked them, played more direct, looked dangerous for about 80 of the 90. Big improvements. Missed some easy chances. Play like that every week the wins will start coming. Aren't coming up against 2 strikers that big and strong each week. One new CB and we will not be a bad side

Anybody complaining about a 20 year old from Burton now?
-
Dunn's grown on me a bit since he went & I feel a bit sorry for him too but it doesn't change the fact they both did a terrible job while they were here, difficult circumstances or not.
We've not seen any similar victimhood from Shez yet.
In fact he's already said "the honeymoon's over now, we need to win games" in his latest Latics Player interview..
You must not look at Dunn's twitter
-
Exactly. He was :censored: but he did give a :censored:. When a team has a bad run of results a lot of fans assume that managers, coaches, players don't care but 99% obviously do.
Carried himself a lot better than Dunn has
-
Scored a hat trick in his first game for the development squad
Or in a trial match against some university team or something
-
Huh. Not sure their small ads are that comprehensive.
Personally I think he'd be better off contacting other clubs.
Shez out.
Tickled me that lol
-
With tradition we manage to spell his name wrong when posting the announcement, its Peter Shirtliff.
No nonsense centre half in his day, not sure what he brings to the table but the appointment is probably a reflection of where the clubs at.
It had 3 f's at first then I accidentally deleted one more than I should. I should be hung drawn and quartered

Cheers. Will have a read

Steve you clearly know a bit about Benham too but colleagues on the board might be interested too
I say I don't find it bizarre I find it absolutely fascinating. Bentham the Brentford owner is an Oxford educated self made multi multi millionaire with all his money earned as a professional gambler based on statistics being king. His club in Denmark FC Midtrylland are about to win their first ever Danish Championship. At half time the teams performance is analysed against pre set targets and KPIs and players instructed accordingly... He signs players based on stats compiled over a minimum of 30 games.....he does not believe like Machiovelli that knowledge is power , he believes it is obligatory
Whether you are sold on the approach or not I guarantee that any research by colleagues on here into Benham and his philosophy will be rewarded with challenging and thought provoking issue
Any good links?

Dean Holden comes across really well. Dunn is just an idiot.
-
Just went back over that thread and the only person being "slagged off" is me!
Deservedly so
-
It costs £500.
It's reimbursed if successful.
It tells the players, all of them, that the club will back them.
That's good for morale.
Great point. My Sunday league manager, yes I know not nearly the same, pays any yellow cards for us as long as it's for a tackle and not dissent.
-
People thinking that this incident may have soured the managers opinion of the player?
I think it will have endeared him to him a bit more.
At leat that's one more hard tackle put in than Philliskirk did in both spells here.
Hides behind sofa haha

You have delusions of superiority over most Latics fans, no idea what it stems from...
Mummy didn't love him enough, daddy loved him to much
-
Boys in blue...
-
HOOF
Not necessarily. We just need to be smarter with positioning and movement off the ball.
-
The cross wasn't Colemans to take. Looked to me he wasn't aware of his position when the header came back over. Should have got to it. Not sure if he thought it was going over or what.

Hoping Lee Johnson only remembers when Wilson was half decent and signs him off the back of that.
