Edmondson had another good game for AFC Fylde last night, another clean sheet and they've yet to concede since he's been there, not sure where Jamie Stott was, he wasn't named in the matchday squad of 16.

according to his uncle hes spat the dummy out and had a row with there manager about being on the bench all the time apparently Fulham were sniffing around him close season

Agree on Omrani he's looked a really handy player in the three home sub appearances even if a couple were very brief. He even got an assist against Peterborough. I'll write Rotherham off, it was a long time ago now and no one played well there.

Covers plenty of ground when he gets on and seems capable of putting his foot on the ball and picking out a pass.Good to see we've decent options available from the bench.

to borrrow a cricketing term we bat right down the order now

We were punished for Gerrard's header - that was a proper sitter which he totally cocked up. The ball was always too high for Holloway. There was no way he could've scored from that.

You're correct cr about Edmundson though. Should've been directly at fault for two goals but for Cole's poor finish. It's obviously up to Shez whether to keep him in the side but when you're not a regular and you make errors that big, with a decent replacement waiting in the wings, dropping him seems a straightforward decision. Maybe the fact he's clearly bulked massively makes Shez more confident in him than Stott.

see my earlier post about stott having a thigh injury acordibg to his uncle

  4. one thing that realy stood out for me was how poor our gamesman ship was today no now nouse or guile from us .wigan on the otherhand were masters at it every time we had a free kick one of there players would stand over the ball slowing play every time we got a corner or a throw there defenders wouldwalk away/dribble the ball  away so preventing quick play from us .our players on the otherhand when kicks awarded against them just stood around gawping waiting instructions .we just seem to be to "nice "

He's looking to move his rugby team from the AJ Bell as it's one of the worst grounds in the country to get to, why would he want to move a football team into a ground he doesn't even own?

one of the worst ???  probley one of the better served 5mins from jn 11 m60  soon to have a link from jn 10 (if they dont drop the bridge again ) 15 mins from jn 21 m6 aling the A57 bus service every 5/10 mins from city center 67/100 plenty of pubs and clubs for a beer or two localy you can even dump the misses and ankle bitters at the trafford center to watch the game in peace

Agreed. Stott looks like the next one off the production line, enjoy him while we can, he won't be here long.

Hope the same can be said about Edmondson and Mantack. If they all continue to develop the team will be doing well and might even be able to keep hold?

Either way, I enjoy seeing the going lads come through the ranks at the club and long may it continue

work with stotts uncle who reckons hos older brother is even better but we let him go

It was stated in court that BFC should be regarded as a "property business with a football club attached".

It has been on record for some time that somewhere around £30 million has been transferred out of the "football side of the business" into other parts of the Oyston empire, often as unsecured, interest-free loans to be paid back "at the sole discretion of the loanee".  These transfers included a payment of around £11 million to a company wholly-owned by Owen for services provided to BFC.  The only slight problem here is that the company in question was, and had been for some time, dormant!

Perhaps the most telling comment, from a fan's point of view, was the Oystons' QC's assertion that it was "safer to take the money out of BFC and put it into Segesta etc rather than "squandering" it on investments for BFC such as "buying players" ".  Says it all, really.

Within 24 hours of beating Cardiff in the Championship play-off final  -  reportedly the most valuable football "prize" of all  -  there were internal memos between father (Owen - owner) & son (Karl - chairman) discussing how they could remove money from the club without other shareholders/backers being involved and how much they could take.  Incredible!

    despicable behavior
