Just laid us for relegation at 2.06 on Betfair. A few quid still available at that price.
Free money that.

Martin Jol has appeared in the betting at 16/1 - I’d take him

Another 3 years yet to wait.
1960 Bobby Johnstone
1990 Joe Royle
2020 ?
Except Joe Royle had already been manager for years in 1990.

3 years on from managing AC Milan he’s now odds on to be Latics manager. There’s an upwards career trajectory for you.

Skybet taken odds down?

Difficult to get too much detail from Abbreviated Accounts, but it is the write down on the value of property arising from a valuation carried out by Ryder & Dutton which values the property at £2.8m
Is the right answer. Just to correct the topic title slightly the loss in 2016 is £4.28m not £4.6m

I see today’s market mover is Alan Stubbs in to 5/1. Didn’t last long at Rovrum but decent job at Hibs from what I recall. Might help sort the defence out too.

Now Evens with Sky Bet. Another £10 must have been placed on him!
1/3 now must have been £20

Brentford got rid of there Academy set up a few seasons back. Instead they play organised friendless and tournaments across the continent.
Huddersfield have this week announced there no longer rubbing an academy at junior levels.
i still feel it's important to keep the youth set up but at the same time with the new trialists coming in.
If there of a better standard could help the youngsters raise there game and prepare them a lot better for first time football. If they get the opportunity.
Rubbing an academy at junior levels - wasn’t Mick Wadsworth there once. Allegedly.

He's always been dire Correa.

How is it even possible for a professional football team to concede two goals in two minutes? You have the ball back after the first goal...
Doesn't matter pal ?

Mills hill to Poulton, few pints in Poultons brilliant real ale pubs and happy days.
Nice one - I lived in poulton for 12 years so know them reasonably well ;). I'm last minute to this on Saturday as I was supposed to be busy but I'm now free, is it POTD or all ticket?

Sage advice, but Northern Rail can do one after the "service" they provided between Preston and Poulton/Blackpool the weekend before last.
Going to swerve this one, I think.
Oh forgot about the rail disruption is that still on then?

Can't see this anywhere, is it confirmed?

It will be a pain in the arse to get to on the train..
Well given Fleetwood doesn't have a station that's true. Blackpool North for tram or Poulton for taxi.

Any clues as to the hotshot trialist?
Probably signing his first Everton contract as we speak prior to joining Rochdale on a season long loan during which he'll bag 40.

I was in it once as part of the glorious Grouse pool team that won the lees road league in spectacular fashion in the early 80s. With its recent closure there is no pub on lees road now until you reach the Friendship in Salem.

Just seen Fane's dismissal again on C5 - abysmal decision. Absolutely won the ball.

I wouldn't think that any supporter has a clue whether playing Wilson in nest is stupid given that no-one (?) has ever seen Placide play.
Well if he's not better than Wilson giving him a 2 year contract IS stupid.
Next Oldham Manager?

Obviously if Seedorf (or Jol) are realistic possibilities those avenues should be explored but RW is doing himself no harm at all. We took a chance on somebody at the end of their playing career 35 years ago who gave us our best period since before the 1st world war, clearly not certain that Wellens can emulate that but the players seem to be buying into him and the passion he has is clear from the interviews. He also seems to know how to set a team up and has spotted the weknesses in the team from only 7 days ago. He deserves our support if he’s appointed that’s for damn sure.
