For fellow saddos amongst us, Gary Harkins is playing on BBC Alba for Greenwich Morton.
Greenwich Morton - that’s quite a round trip.

Meanwhile the great Ollie Banks nets for Tranmere. They are 4-1 down though ?

We could if there's investment, although if that happens I can see more foreign imports.
I think foreign imports (South American mainly) are Jose’s problem.

What have they just done Bozman?

Got to be Tarky - Burnley’s defence certainly hasn’t suffered since he took over from Keane who went for £25m? My best mates lad is currently in the youth set up so I’m hoping it’s not him for long ?

That's going too far, it was just unfortunate, could have bounced anywhere.
It’s not going too far it’s complete and utter bollocks.

I'd go with this too to give us that bit more solidarity certainly away from home.
Menig could definitely give us something from the bench though if we are looking for a goal late on anykind of creative spark.
To be fair to Menig the English 3rd tier is probably as different from the Dutch top flight as it’s possible to be in terms of the style and pace of the game. He’s got enough talent to get there but it may take a while.

Last time we beat Bury at home we were in the midst of the Chris M**re takeover. They had a promising left back we signed for £200k not long after. Now we’re in the middle of a takeover and Bury had a promising left back. Coincidence? I think not.

Absolutely part of the fabric going back to the 70s. Keeping it should not be up for debate. I would imagine you would be strung up from the nearest lamp post if you suggested to Everton they ditch z cars. It’s essentially the same thing, one of the few things that is truly ours.

Doyle is the 3rd highest scorer in the division but his goal per minute ratio is better than anyones in the league its 1 in 1!!!!!!
Davies to is averaging under a goal every 2 games we have in effevtively the best strike partnership in the division.
Which makes yesterday more frustrating going 4 - 2 up away from home at 80 minutes is the hard bit silly defending has cost us.
1 goal every minute! That’s around 4,000 a season. Should be enough for promotion that.

And it's been done over, arguably, our toughest run of fixtures.
Indeed - we’ve now played the top 11 in the division and none of the bottom 8. Remarkable stat that - of course we still have to beat them but well capable of that at the moment.
-
Scenes behind the goal there!

As the better player - Stainrod.
As the better finisher - Wylde.

Echo what's been said. Sad when it went but but I've contributed to its demise by not buying it for 10 years (being on here and hearing about Latics that way has probably played a big part in that to be honest). I'll probably make a conscious effort to get a few a more now but if it wasn't feasible before, I can't see how it's going to be sustainable a few weeks later.
Well I’d guess they won’t have a final salary pension scheme for a start.

Where do you conclude that Byrne was spotted by RW please?
If only she’d put FACT at the end of her post it would have been incontrovertible.
-
I suppose the fact that RW said that he’d stay as Assistant under Seedorf means that he might consider the same under somebody with the playing pedigree of Scholes. If I were in a position to offer Scholes the job I would be making Wellens assistant as a pre-condition.
-
Scholes is into 9/2 3rd favourite ?

I know. I watched it today because I wanted to see if he was still as disappointing as I always though he was.
He was.
The Theresa May of Latics, little discernible talent but still better than most of their team mates.

Completely irrelevant but I note that tribunal letter is signed S Artingstall. I used to work with a bloke called Frank with the same surname. Seeing his name (initial and surname) on documents always used to make me chuckle a little.

Kieran Lee with a worldy. Decent right back him ?
Ripley - Still a possibility?
