  1. My thought was corney may have used a match highlights package to help attract potential investors, which showing it with the north stand may have helped with. But totally agree, they're the priorities
  2. It's ridiculous. May write to the club as a suggestion but like you said, nothing will happen.
  3. This may be a minor issue, and I know we have bigger things to worry about, but... Does anyone else feel we should get a camera angle from a higher vantage point? Because I live in Plymouth I very rarely see games at BP, I actually felt we played more attractive football yesterday than we usually do at home, purely because I was sat higher than the highlights usually show at home. Don't get me wrong, I know we probably weren't playing as nice football as usual. Just feel that a higher vantage point does make it more attractive, or is that just me?
  4. Well, in theory under corney, when we're struggling to have any money with our attendance figures, we'd have even less in league 2 due to a drop in support. With AL, he may have some cash to offset that reduction in gate receipts, and can afford to keep us up. Just a theory, and like I said, I hope it never comes to that. EDIT: and don't think it will, I think we'll be fine this season
  5. That's what I was getting at, under corney I think if we were to go down, we'd drop several leagues such as Stockport, Tranmere have done. But under AL with a bit more cash (even if not that much) we'd have a much greater chance of surviving and building long term.
  6. Completely agree. Now that we have (or soon will) an owner who is not scraping the barrell for funds each month, I would rather keep wellens, even if we got relegated. With the money we could bounce back, in the same way many teams do. Obviously I'd rather not be in that situation at all, but a league two team who trusts the manager playing nice football to build on to eventually get to the championship in 5 years, is a much more exciting prospect than changing managers every 6 months and staying 17th in league one for the next 5.
  7. Not the best start for him (I know he's not actually confirmed yet)
  8. That must suggest we have another CB in for tomorrow?
  9. Anyone else hear that he's got OWTB chant sorted finally?
  10. But you don't get to choose where you go on a training course, which is what a loan effectively is
  11. Does anyone have a stream for this game? It's ridiculous that someone who lives in Ireland can pay to stream the game, but I can't because I live in the UK, despite living 300miles away from most games this season
  12. As a fan in Plymouth, I'd like a few seasons where I can see latics at Argyle, Exeter or even Yeovil
