Yes some very good goals, but never really put it in for me! Some dont like that, but look where he got his goals. Decent striker who needs to get in the real world! - Not the messiah everyone goes on about. I saw more lackluster performances than good ones, and whoever has watched the majority of his games would agree.

This season has played for Darlo scoring 8 from 18 games. Northampton 3 goals from 5 games before spearheading promotion for Brentford scoring 6 goals from 8 games. His parent club is Ipswich (Royle connection) - He is only small so would need a target man too I feel. Think he would be a very good addition.

The point I was trying to make is that we have a glass half full attitude amongst many of our supporters.

All I am saying is I love our football club, and I would rather have TTA than anyone else. Nothing in business or football has a guarantee. TTA have done loads of cock ups. All of which have been talked to death on here. They have also done some great things.

One thing I learn when Chris Moores was here is that owners need to be watched and need to be challenged...

I think you need to understand that while many people where exactly jumping for joy at the new appointment that dose not mean for a second we wont be getting behind him and giving him our support.

 

It winds me up that sometimes you have to be seen to be a super fan on here.... Dave Penney dosent exactly get me excited and I would of gone for someone else but now he is here he has more full support and backing.

I cant believe the initial response from a lage amount of our suporters RE Dave Penney, I have had a numbere of arguments already, who the hell do some of our fans think we are?? what gives them the right to slate a guy who hasnt even managed the team yet? I am amazed at the amount of rubbish spouted on here, and the names which have been plucked out of the sky!!!! We are small club with a hardcore support of around 3500 fans, not a Championship club with over 10,000 gates. Too many fans are living in cookoo land and this is why the club and the players are failing.

Dave Penney is a well respected manager with a proven record of managing smaller clubs, with lower budgets - and has promotions on his CV, I am sure Darlo would be in league one too if they hadnt been docked points!!!
