not been able to attend games recently due to sudden illness and still quite week. Missed the last 2 home games and could see the floodlights from the corridor of Oldham Royal Hospital!!
If I am not strong enough to go to the Chesterfield game at least I can now watch it on National League stream
Get well soon and take comfort you’ve missed absolutely nothing !!

Unsworth never suffered the embarrassment of losing to Aldershot though...
Aldershot have improved massively since then

I realise letting go is hard to do but at some point the focus will have to shift away from Unsworth.
Yes I see what you are getting at there but it’s still a lost year . We could have had that year under the stewardship of a better manager.

Tbf one more of these performances and he can go immediately. We're not going up. That's for fucking sure.
I never thought we were this season.

This is his style and he's already made a load of mainly bad signings.
I think his signings , or some , have been hurried. I also think he perhaps knows the limitations of the players and is therefore overly negative with the tactics. The more time passes in this league I feel we need if we can to reach more into the football league if we can for proven players . Big ask but there’s still too many substandard players on our payroll. The Unsworth appointment really was a massive own goal too. Not tested or proven , just a wasted year under him.

The most infuriating thing about this, and other similar games, is we just look desperate to stay in it. It’s like we’re playing a premier league side and anywhere will do.
I’ve seen us like that too many times since we’ve been in this league

If we don't make the play offs he should be dismissed as soon as the final whistle blows after the Wealdstone match.
I don’t think so,I think he needs time to build his own team and style from scratch in the summer.

First 15 minute we were at it and should have taken the lead. Once they started getting crosses into the box we kept dropping deeper and deeper.
the way teams have got at Bromley is pace and passing it round them. They drew us into hoof ball which was always a losing battle.
We are 1 win in 5 but only lost 1 in 8. We are starting to draw too many games now.
with the fixtures we have, we are going to need to rely on the away form but can see us being outside the play offs shortly.
The centre backs must all need head scans after that game, I’ve never seen so many headers, was literally constant. If Bromley’s game is that of attrition and physicality then I think we did ok.

Mcgahey was like the Fat lad in PE tonight the game passed him by especially 2nd half. Can’t believe we didn’t bring Hammond on
He was a liability in the second half, almost like his blood sugar had dropped suddenly , didn’t know who was behind him, and I know he’s no whippet but he literally has zero pace whatsoever.

Fair play. Shit houses the lot of them. No hope in play offs, if we even make it.
I’d bet we won’t

I think we are poor full stop, masking our shortcomings away with spirited performances. They show it time and again. Embarrassing and not good enough yet again.

I wonder the same to be honest

3 welcome points, but surely it could be more entertaining than this?
We desperately need a direct runner from central midfield, again Lundstram was running around in circles going dizzy and I don't think we will see Ward again.
Hammond isn't ready for the senior game yet. Conlon was doing the job of 3 at times.
Don't know what role Dallas is supposed to play, if he ever gets fit.
Walker is a strange one, looks a dynamic player, hardly played, yet supposedly injured.
I’ve lost track and interest in who is injured these days, it’s ridiculous. Norwood, now Dallas who has barely kicked a ball . I knew it would be a struggle tonight, we were well off it even without Norwood. But fair play for the fight back .

Daylight robbery again, but who cares. Shows how terrible this league is we’re absolute dog and some how winning!
Exactly, I nearly left at half time we were that bad. But play like that and get 3 points is how you stay in the pack.

Maybe it’s a precursor to their relegation to the national league for financial irregularities and they’ll need the whole of greater Manchester to fill the ground once the glory hunters have pissed off!
Do they ever fill it anyway? I can see a load of blue seats again today unless its my eyes

I’m going to say it.
I’m not sure that I trust Mellon.
The football is turgid but what is more worrying is that Mellon doesn’t seem to be able to get this team playing.
Another nothing team giving us the runaround.
If we don’t trust him though we can’t trust anyone really

How Lundstram is still on the pitch baffles me.
We just look like a dogs dinner organisation wise and it’s backs to the wall at bloody Ebbsfleet. Need to get some shape and purpose back .

I give up, Norwood injured and we look absolutely shite

Mellon has already said he won’t force players out of the club and won’t banish them from training.
You cannot blame Nuttall for not wanting to walk away, he signed the contract and we did too so unfortunately we have to honour it!
OK, you say he has a bad attitude, maybe do but he probably realises that he will never command that sort of money again so who can blame him?
He would be giving up £200k over 17 months which is 7 years salary for the average worker.
He’s not going to play at all so I would get shut even if we have to pay him 2/3 of his salary. It’s a big hit but like I’ve said previously if we don’t it’s an even bigger hit!
I wonder if he was on performance related pay his game might have perked up a bit. Can’t blame him in a way but it still grips my s**t that players can be paid so much for failing to deliver .

Rattles Remember them?
They were still a thing from my first memories of going to football matches in the early 90s I remember but died off as the decade wore on.
Someone was selling raffle tickets in the main stand on Tuesday
