All very quiet the rumour mill 

All teams have hiccups here and there, even the best. But we aren’t the best, we aren’t even good. We’ve won a few lately hence our reasonable position at present but I can’t help but feel with these that another bad run is around the corner.

Disappointment on tap with a good number of this squad. Get rid asap MM please and get the new blood in. 

I don’t care much for this competition, but good grief that’s bad. 

Thought there’d have been another one coming in by today.

yes, good result but sounded like a struggle 2nd half, MM getting a tune out the squad at the moment but we really need some additions .

That and Singing the Blues by Guy Mitchell just evokes memories of going to my first Oldham games in 1981 as a young kid with the smell of cigarettes, Bovril and alcohol in the air. I'd cling onto the fence in the main stand paddock and fell in love with football and Oldham. It might be a bit naff now but Everton, Leeds etc all have their own dodgy tunes that they play every home game.

A few years ago a mate of mine Dave Moore who runs an alternative Latics site rang me and said Lieutenant Pidgeon were on at the Railway pub in Greenfield and we had a great time  and loud cheers when they played that song.
