Wellens can go for me. Tactically inept. His team is the softest I have seen in the shirt. No fight no endeavour. Don even think we had a shot on target.
One of the best strikers we have had in years with the ball at his feet and he plays the high ball up to him all game.
Seriously doubt we have it in us to pull through these next 4 games. Dale will stay up so we have to better one of the teams above us and I can't see it.
For probably the best ball playing midfielder we have had in the last 20 years he refuses to play the football Byrne and Doyle are capable of.
And this isn' a knee jerk reaction to a poor performance. We have won 1 in 8 and disregarding his supurb honeymoon period we would probably be down with bury at the bottom.
His signings are questionable as well- 1

The winger at bury is a gem from what I have seen (granted not a lot) and what gmr say about him. Is it ismail?

A mate is a burnley season ticket holder and reckons he is one of the key reasons burnley lost their way at Christmas. His suspension and injury have hit them hard

I have this sneaky feeling bury will come good. Performances have improved recently

Presumably if the Rochdale - Millwall game is postponed tomorrow it guarantees that our game at Spotland gets rearranged. There is a full fixture list next midweek so the first available date for them to play the game would be 5th round day.
I'd imagine they will play it 5th rd day. League takes priority over cup surely?

I wouldn't mind if it had half.decent content but I once heard them.talk for half hour on the effect fellainis hair had on his game

Anyone listen to this? I drive for a living and listen to xs all day but I call 6 -7 the turn off hour.
It's ludicrous in itself that a rock station dedicates an hour to a football programme everyday but it's advertised as a programme for "your team". It might as well be the city and United show.
When this takeover is rubber stamped we should bombard them with latics calls.

50 in 9 games? That's ridiculous

Except for the 3 we are bothered about the rest can go for me. I think we will do quite well with these 3. I'd be shocked if we didn't get 2 of them. Doyle to be the marquee signing of the new era permanently and Bryan for the year because he is doing so well. City will see that.
It's Wigan that concern me. We do have a chance there as it was rumoured we were getting him permanently initially but with how well he has done id be shocked if Wigan didn't rethink things

Same as unless any injuries come about

Think it reverts to boundary park officially in the summer anyway.
Always said we need to get bp fuel to sponsor the ground. I call it bp anyway ?

Dont think you can compare the two. They are/were both suited to the latics team they played in. Somehow can't see placide in a disciplined defensive unit with his flare approach and ultimately that's why he didn't get in shez's team.

Heart says play offs head says build for a promotion push next season.
And depending on if we can keep on this upward turn keep wellens

I'd happily go the rest of my life without a crappy pie or a mars bar, Even a Luke warm flat beer if it meant we score 5 on the pitch every week.

So while not actually making any real progress yesterday in terms of league position we did put a significant number of points between us and the bottom 4, and bridge the gap between us and the 6 or 8 teams above us.
I would confidently say we can be classed as a mid table team currently and look upwards rather than down.
So are the play offs achievable? Or is the start we made going to be The mill stone around our neck this year?
At this point I would say keeping those above us in touching distance is the main thing and yesterday was massive for that especially when you consider our goal difference is becoming much more respectable than it has been. We can even dream of a positive goal difference if we have a good christmas

Didn't go to Gillingham but I don't really think "breaking teams down"applies to the draw against afc. We carved them open for fun just lacked the finish. Not much wellens can do with that. If be more than happy if he approached every game like that cos more often than not you will score

You cannot mention Gillingham away without mentioning the game when it rained...
I was there. 2 nil up at half time and playing superb. Phoned a mate and he wondered why I was so miserable.
Never seen rain like it. Still the win made it all the sweeter

because i think he is appalling, he brings us practiaclly nothng.
You don't watch the game then. Gardener runs the show for the first half most games. Admittedly he tires towards the end of the game and becomes less effective but his is just as important in that midfield as anyone else. His work rate is phenomenal and balances fane and Byrne perfectly

Tbf I think they have realized he is shit and has as much chance of hitting the onion bag as a dead mouse

Headless chicken. Clueless. Incompetent. Useless. Liability.
Just some of the words I've used to describe him over the last 18 months.
Good decision. Be gone in january

I've read it's a few different players a ghost writer has put together to make it sound like it's one player. That's what makes me question wether or not to bother with it.
Just wondering weather to go for just the first book or dive in feet first and go for the box set if people reckon it's worth it
-
Anyone read these books? Just wondering how many are in the series and if they are worth a read?
-
Suck on that chuck
Wellens.

46 points wouldn't keep you up over the course of a season. Draws without wins are useless
