parker to leave lashers

according to the bbc site keigan parker is quitting the lashers at the end of the season.....with nottingham forest supposedly the favs to sign him......

 

would love to see a play like him at bp,someone who aint affraid to run at defences at speed and knows where the net is.

yes he has a reutation for going to visit ladys of the night whilst eating kebabs and kicking doors whilst ordering taxis.......or something like that.

 

would still like to see him in a latics shirt though.

Good player. Their best last season but why is he out of favour?

 

He has dropped down the pecking order after the early season form of Morrell, Burgess, and latterly McPhee and Dickov. He's been wanting to leave for some time, even almost going to Barnsley in January for £150k, but couldn't agree personal terms. Parker wanted more than what Barnsley was prepared to offer a striker unproven at Championship level. Since then he has made a couple of appearances off the bench. He still trains with the first team, and AFAIK there hasn't been a major fallout. Like Vernon - shipped out to Colchester, he just wasn't getting a game. :)

Agree with that statement apart from i have heard he had a big fall out with Tony Parkes, who tried to calm his wild side off the pitch
