Micah's 20% on way to BP?

Recommended Posts

At the risk of repeating the obvious and recycling old news just thought i'd add my twopenneth to the debate. I have never posted any rumours re my mates mate has a mate whose brother overheard in the launderstte etc, but fact is a very close mate of mine is on citehs books and coaches with the academy there. He is also good mates with our Earle and I have met him many times thru him - point is hes genuine and 100% down the line. He gave me heads up on Sven and also knew of Steve Bruce to Wigan long before it became news and we all had a few bob on it. To cut to the chase, he knows our Micah well from academy days and he believes its a real runner and that all but sorted he will sign for redsox imminently for £25 mill plus. Not 100% that it will happen but 100% that serious negociations have been ongoing for a while now. fear not fellow tics - cash will be on the way to BP coffers in near future ! (well, maybe, ... )

Cheers Diego. Wont be in it long will they?

Citeh are unable to play the home leg of their first qualifying round of the UEFA Cup at Eastlands in July, because they've arranged a Bon Jovi concert and the pitch won't be ready for the game. They're looking for an alternative venue - I suppose the three-sided Boundary Park will be too small.

Apparently Hudders is the closest ground with anything like the required capacity that won't be "having its pitch relaid" at the time...

Th*ksin and C*ty deserve each other.

I've said it many times before. He is the most odious man I have ever had the misfortune of coming across.

The C*ty fans who idolise him really should be ashamed of themselves. If he had bought the Latics, I would have stopped supporting them. That is how strongly I feel about him. The English FA should hang their heads in shame for letting him "buy" into English football.

I speak as someone who has a grasp of Thai culture and the Thai mentallity. I really hope that C*ty implode and are playing Northern Premier League football in 3 years!!!

In my opinion, Th*ksin is pure evil. May he rot in Hell.

From a Citeh fan in the office. Not sure on his source.

Oh, and far be it from me to suggest "having their pitch relaid" is a euphemism for, "No thanks, we like our seats where they are..."

Micah Richards will be fit for the start of Manchester City's UEFA Cup bid next July.

The England defender was ruled out of the latter part of City's Barclays Premier League campaign following a knee operation.

Although Richards has also been forced to miss the Blues current Far East tour and the forthcoming England friendlies against the USA and Trinidad, City medical staff have confirmed he will be okay to start pre-season training as normal.

"Micah has been working hard with us after the season finished and he is at the stage now where if the season was still on, he would be able to fully train and probably play," said City's head physio Ally Beattie.

Whether Richards remains at City this summer remains to be seen.

The 19-year-old is known to be unhappy at the uncertainty over Sven-Goran Eriksson's position and many fans fear if the Swede eventually leaves, so will Richards.

It is thought owner Thaksin Shinawatra will be told by chief executive Alistair Mackintosh in the Far East this week that the overwhelming desire among City fans is for Eriksson to stay.

Whether that results in Thaksin having a change of heart over the future of the former England boss remains to be seen, although with City due to learn their European opponents next month before they play their UEFA Cup first qualifying round in July, the quicker the matter is resolved the better it will be for all concerned.

Meanwhile, it has also been confirmed Nedum Onuoha will be fit for pre-season training as well after making encouraging progress following a dislocated shoulder.
