BRADFORD CITY: McCall set for transfer raid

By Leon Wobschall

Bradford City are weighing up a double swoop for Carlisle United outcasts Paul Arnison and Zigor Aranalde.

Bantams boss Stuart McCall, a close friend and former team-mate of Carlisle No 2 Greg Abbott, is understood to be among a number of League Two managers in the hunt for the full-back duo, who were released by United last month.

Oldham are also understood to be interested in veteran left-back Aranalde, while ex-Brunton Park chief Paul Simpson is reportedly keen on landing both players.

WHAT ALOAD OF RUBBISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (THE PLAYER)

He always impressed me up until when we played them at home. Lewis Alessandra gave him a right runaround that night.

Don't think he's our answer anyway. Getting on a bit, and if Carlisle released him then it raises question marks on whether he'll do a job for us.
