oldhamfan
Great timing that this bar in the temporary away end for us will be open tomorrow. Was not pleased at the thought of no bar at half time so this is top news. Lets see how it compares to the home end and see if we have to start queing at 10 mins before half time even though they dont open the shutters till dead on half time. Why they just cant keep it open all match or at least open a few mins before half time is beyond me. Lets see how it compares to the home end and see if we have to start queing at 3.30 even though they dont open the shutters till dead on half time. daznathe
im loggin off in a min, does it suggest that consuming two pints over twenty five mins has less intoxicating effects than rushing it down in fifteen? if not its wrong. also you could piss twice if you knew you didnt have to rush, further reducing the potential for alchohol fuelled riots

rudemedic
Mad rushes for the bar and drinking far too quickly will go on until the government realise that not all football fans are hooligans/thugs nor are they people sitting in posh seats where the queue at the bar is none existant and they get rid off the unfair rules which only apply to football, (no drinking in sight of the pitch, no drinking whilst the game is on etc.). If people want to get drunk and cause trouble at football there are better ways to do it than spending all your time drinking and not actually watching the game (though if you are a hip-flask master you might be able to do both). By the way binge drinking is roughly classed as drinking more than one unit more your recommended daily amount in a day. Since for blokes the recommened daily amount is 4-5 units 2 pints of standard lager in a day (nevermind in 15/20 minutes) would be about the limits and any more would be considerd a binge (2 pints of Stella is a binge).
