singe
Obviouly we do not know what goes on behind closed doors. Davies was not firing on all cylinders, and O grady seemingly not reay to step up to the plate. There are many threads on here bemoning Davies. People forget it might be Davies with the problem why he is not top scorer again. Not evey signing can be perfect. To me Shez has shown a determined and ruthless side that I didn;t think he had. He would have to use this, if we are to suceed, and he has. He had the chance to offload under performing players, he stuck his neck out. If Davies and or O grady had stayed and performed to their current standard last Saturday, everyone would still have been calling for Shez why he did not get rid. Especially if it came out alter that he could have offloaded. Decision made, and stuck to. People have been calling for Lewi and Smalley to start anyway. The one thing I do agree is that we should have been told of Ormerod broken toe sooner to allay fears. He's gone up in my estimation. losesome
And that O'Grady would not be cup-tied. O'Grady isn't cuptied - Latics refused permission.
Diego_Sideburns
O'Grady isn't cuptied - Latics refused permission. That's what I said! And that O'Grady would not be cup-tied. We were only told after the game (as with Ormerod's broken toe) when opinions had been formed based on wrong suposition. beag_teeets
Perhaps it was a bit of kidology why they didn't release it, so that Cheltenham would plan for dealing with Omerod then their plans woudl go up in smoke when he didn't appear - good generals don't tell the enemy their plan of attack? But more to the point, has the BP been fed today?
