Harry Dowds Green Shirt
I am travelling by train this weekend on my own, how far is the station in hudderfield from the galfarm? About 1 10-15 minute walk. As you come out of the station just head straight down the hill. Cheers, Harry
Guest oa_exile
The ground is walkable from Huddersfield train station, albeit a long one (15-20mins). After coming out of the Railway Station, turn down past the front of The George Hotel. Go straight over the crossroads into Northumberland Street and walk down across the Ring Road straight on into Leeds Road. Turn right down Gasworks Street. Straight over crossroads to the ground. Senor_Coconut
Don't you get bus'ed in from the train station by the police?
Scapegoat
Worth popping in to the Head of Steam pub on the station - good ales.

Fyldelatic
Usually there will be a large police presence at the station, and anyone with Latics top or looks like away supporter (by chanting songs etc) will be stopped from breaking ranks and escorted to the ground. Unfortunately there have been skirmishes with home fans near the station and en route to the ground before and after the match in recent years, so police won't be taking any chances. It was they who insisted on all-ticket rule for away supporters this time.
arnoid
I'd consider it a short walk at 10-15 mins myself

Roger Ritchie
will the police be waiting just on the trains from Victoria or the ones from Piccadilly aswell? The police will just be in the station, if there aren't a group of you they will let you slip through to do your own thing.
