thelaticsfan Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 aye shows a bit of gratitude although i can just hear mrs haining saying "now what do you say to them for helping you out will?" Quote
Tindall Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 nice touch its a kick in the mouth, he uses our facilites(FOR FREE) to get fit to have a trial at Blackpool Quote
oafc0000 Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 Haining was a good servant to the club and I am glad we helped him out. Quote
thelaticsfan Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 nice touch its a kick in the mouth, he uses our facilites(FOR FREE) to get fit to have a trial at Blackpool hoe do you know DP offered him a contract? Quote
Lookers_Carl Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 nice touch its a kick in the mouth, he uses our facilites(FOR FREE) to get fit to have a trial at Blackpool Well its not as if we offered him a contract and he turned us down though We did the lad a favour, as penney said on OS, he was never going to sign for us Quote
Killens_physio Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 Nice touch , Shame he isnt signing Haining - a thanks While im pleased we helped him out, i find it a bit baffling that we played him in friendly matches, even though he wasnt actually going to sign. Surely it would have been more useful to have fielded our own players to get match practice and sharpness? Quote
bpmarko Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 Well its not as if we offered him a contract and he turned us down though We did the lad a favour, as penney said on OS, he was never going to sign for us I think for complete accuracy, DP should have said "... we were never going to sign him ..." NIKI1234 Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 No problem with him training with us but if he was never going to sign for us why did he play in games Quote
bpmarko Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 No problem with him training with us but if he was never going to sign for us why did he play in games Did he play after the Halifax game? Quote
Tindall Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 lol...Is your first name Billy by any chance? Why dont you talk about the thread and not about me Quote
ste1987 Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 Is a nice touch. All the best Will in getting fixed up! Quote
thelaticsfan Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 No problem with him training with us but if he was never going to sign for us why did he play in games maybe he was considering him and wanted to take a look first, then decided he wasnt going to sign Quote
marhar Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 Good luck to him in getting fixed up, good to acknowledge us. I was initially hoping he would sign for us, but thinking about it more recently I don't think he's the answer to our problems in central defence Quote
c_ogden99 Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 He might not sign for blackpool still, closer it gets to start of the season you never know might come back Quote
NIKI1234 Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 maybe he was considering him and wanted to take a look first, then decided he wasnt going to sign Fair enough but Pennys is quoted as saying he was NEVER going to sign Quote
Tindall Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 Are you trying to become the resident cyber hard man or something. A simple question.. Are you called Billy? my dad used to teach a lad called Billy Tindall...lol he just wondered if it might be you. No and No, are you trying to promote violence this could result in a ban without warning, carful Quote
thelaticsfan Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 No and No, are you trying to promote violence this could result in a ban without warning, carful ???????????????? what? Quote
chaddy the owl Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 They say the Will was never going to sign for us.....Thats not what he thought. He wanted to sign, obviously couldnt sort out an agreement on wages though so DP wasnt interested. Quote
