Should never have sold him in hindsight, young centre backs of that quality don't grow on trees and thought he was worth a lot more, he was quality all round and even good going forward. Would have been in his best interests to remain at the club and play regular football. Good luck to him.

He was out of contract at the end of that year. And with what happened the season before with Porter TTA were never going to take the risk. 500k for 20 odd appearences was good business. Also remember that he got injured for the rest of that season and for most of last season. There was even a point where his career was in question. Selling him, even with hindsight was great business. But we should have tried to get him on loan.
