RoyleArmy Posted November 4, 2009 Share Posted November 4, 2009 Chill out you folks we brought in a good goalie and its a great move by the manager and that lee hill i seen him play he is ok and we should back them dean brill will lose his place now and if the new goalie haves a nightmare i still back him dean brill is the worst goalie we have had in many season. Can line up a wall though ;o) I like Brill and think this 'competition' for his place might be just the threat he needs to keep him on his toes! Shef Utd probably never even told him Beckett wasn't there, he had more strikers than we have potential fullbacks. And we had to pay a fair whack, not just his wages, it was no act of charity. oafc-latics Posted November 4, 2009 Share Posted November 4, 2009 these both sound like great signings and if flahaven does well in his month, i can see us getting him permanently. not sure about hill though, if hes highly rated he sould only be a loanee. hope he is as good as sheehan. and to the persopn that said brill had a good record or something, wasnt he their first choice keeper when they had three successive relegations?
