OAFCMIKE
Top of the hill on Middleton Road, Royton, next to the field where the gypises camped out and near the Haggate. Does it work?

Yard Dog
Top of the hill on Middleton Road, Royton, next to the field where the gypises camped out and near the Haggate. Does it work? I've heard it does, but I've gone through it at over 40 on a couple of occasions and never received a ticket.
Luke Becketts Anchor
Don't know if it works or not, but it's a forward facing type, currently pointing down the hill (it originally pointed uphill). So if you were travelling down the hill, don't worry.

BlueJazzer
It definitely works. I got a ticket from it but it turned out to be a mechanic taking car for a test drive after fitting me a clutch!!! I knew it wouldnt have been me cos i live round corner and knew it was there. Also, the van that parks in the lay by on oldham way, opposite Vauxhall garage is a speed camera not a tax camera, cost me £40 and 3 points in october 08....... mcvitieman
Try driving past it at 45 and you will find out? The tax disc camera vans are getting predictable on the stretch from Broadway to B&Q. I stopped and suggested they try Waterloo Street or Glodwick Road. they darnt go on waterloo st or glodwick rd or featherstall rd just like the traffic wardens because all those areas are above the law
