Hornbloweroafc
All this "yes we scored two goals" stuff got me thinking Would we have scored two goals if there was only one or two goals in it with 10 mins to go? I think Swindon may have took the foot off the gas after the fourth goal but fair play to Latics (esp Colbeck) for not giving up.

Do you think Swindon took their foot of the gas when we created enough chances to have been 3-0 or 4-0 up in the first half?
TheBigDog
Very true, always looked average at best. He's always been a 1 in 4 type of striker - but this season he has hit 19 league goals in 28 games - so he has upped his strike ratio. As for Latics: Price - is a 1 in 5 at best so that would equate to 9 goals a season (a decent return for a midfielder) and Pawel is a 1 in 3. We need that elusive 'fox in da box'! Last night we saw a young lad at Swindon signed from non league Poole Town - Charlie Austin (*) has scored 11 in 15 games. Failed to score in his first 4 games but then on... He is 20 years old and looked a real handful - Danny Wilson has given him a chance - so why not Tom Eaves or Ryan Brooke to start a few games - you never know until you try.... (*) Incidentally - did ya know that he was actually on trial with Bournemouth but they were in the middle of a transfer embargo so could not sign him... singe
Is it just me or has Billy Paynter been at this level for years and only just recently he's really started to raise some eyebrows? That gives us hope for Kiegan Parker, does it not?...
