Perhaps Penney is concerned that one of the alternatives on the right is Parker! (to be fair, I wanted Smalley to be moved to the wing rather than playing as a striker - it hasn't worked and he needs a break to work on his game away from the first team). I'm still unconvinced by Smalley and think whoever suggested a spell in the ressies (if only for 2 or 3 games) might be on to summat I have suggested a spell in the reserves for one or two of our potential 'stars' - Chris Taylor played in midweek and look at him yesterday - Dean Smalley needs the same - he has bags of pace and talent but lacks confidence - he had a better game yesterday but still fails to deliver.
