Stitch_KTF
The GMC was told of another incident in August 2006, when Dr Al Hourani had consulted a colleague and was advised to inject a patient with 10 milligrams (mg) of midazolam, a powerful sedative drug. He then gave the patient 8mg and injected himself with the other 2mg, the hearing was told. Legend. The one time I have been 'sent under' I awoke to a smirking young anesthetist who informed me that I had asked "how much is an ounce of that" as I drifted off. rudemedic
Oh dear- that could be very very expensive for the hospital- especially if the man wants to have kids but can't. Incidentally Stitch having looked it up in my drugs book depending on what it is but £180/ounce is the sort of value of anaesthetics if you scale up the price they charge for the amount to knock you out.
