Midsblue
Do you think our remaining signings ahead of this season will come from the triallists or will we sign players without a trial like we did with Jones and Feeney? Things have gone quiet whist we focus on pre-season friendlies and test out the triallists. Feedback is that the trialists aren't as good as what we have already and we need to extend the net. Hopefully PD/GT have a few irons in the fire but it would be good to get them in so that they're playing with the contracted players in pre-season friendlies to understand play, formations, bond with players etc. When's Baxter due back and is he a certainty as this has cooled over the last few weeks?! BeanDrill
Everton got back from their tour on Monday. They play Preston on Saturday so it'll be interesting to see if Baxter is involved. Considering they normally play one up front they have a lot of striker options with Saha, Yakubu, Beckford, Gueye, Anichebe, Vaughan and even Lukas Jutkiewicz who would be a better signing but probably out of our league after his stint in the SPL. shorelatic
Everything seems to have gone quiet regarding Andy Butler - after Keith Hill said he was signing for us about a fortnight ago. We could do with a centre half in case Gregan isn't ready for the new season.
