tranmere ticket info

Recommended Posts

Supporters are advised to pre-purchase tickets as a large away following is expected and tickets may not be available on the day.

Can you pay on the day or not? I can't get to the ticket office and the last thing anyone ever wants to do is to make an unnecessary trip to Birkenhead.

£15 does seem fairly steep for a trip to tranmere, petrol is getting so costly these days.

FTFY

According to the AA its 46.6 miles from BP to Prenton Park that's an over 90 mile round trip (and that takes you through the Mersey Tunnels- so perhaps not the best way to go). If you drive on your own it will cost you roughly £15 in petrol alone (unless you drive at 55 in a super economical diesel). It might have been £10-£12 a few years ago when petrol (or more accurately Diesel) was at least 20% cheaper.

Yeah it's a while since i used the club coaches.......Just seemed to have risen a lot..........understandable as you've pointed out.

Football is becoming a costly hobby for the average man in the street though, we just have to keep digging deeper.

Since last season though? £15 would get you alot further than Tranmere last season, even Hartlepool was £18 and that was with a half full coach.

Prices have gone up as the club have made losses on official club transport for years...they've changed to Yelloway too. The idea being that the club can request smaller coachers if only 15 seats are sold instead of a 48 seater turning up with only 15 on it like Southampton last season.
