opinions4u
Its simply a question of cost v income; surely we can trust the Board to do the sums? Crikey Delfer, I agree with you!
bluehobbit
it will be coming out and i doubt they will do anthing to replace it. Cant see them making 40k a season on hospitality or whatever the box provides Edited August 23, 2010 by bluehobbit
LaticsPete
Why not a "replace" option?
bpmarko
Crikey Delfer, I agree with you! Am so relieved it wasn't just me sighing at the sheer inanity of this thread.
outoftheblue
I'd be surprised if some of the smarter directors didn't include a full season's loss of revenue on the insurance claim. Those boxes were fully booked up until next may you know
OAFCMIKE
Stalybridge offering hospitality for the Reserves v United game: http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/page/NewsU...2132725,00.html They taking the p***?
garcon
Let's be honest, hospitality in Staly Vegas is not getting stabbed.
rudemedic
Erm, why should it cost £40k to repair it, surely its covered by insurance, after all when it was first put up it was very close to the wooden Lookers. The club should look into how much it is going to cost them to put something similar in its place (i.e. the excess + extra cost for future insurance + any costs (like booze) not covered by insurance) v. how much it will make in the next 2 seasons at least (its not like we are moving before then). I can see it being full for the Hudds, Dale, Sheff Wed and Trannies games and then in use for a few more. If we get a big club in the cup or if we get into the playoffs it will be full as well. I don't think the club said that the £40K wasn't covered, in whole or in part , by insurance, just that that is the cost.
