Photo-editing type stuff

So - I've tried several times to download Photoshop, it seems to want me to download a file a zillion times a very big thing and my laptop gets bored within 3 days. I've tried various other free things but I can't seem to make any of them load, or if I can they seem really crap. Basically all I want to do is delete a long strand or my hair from my face in one photo and replace it with my skin tone

 

 

 

Any suggestions please?

* Get another photo with your head more or less the same size and cut it out. Get some Pritt-Stik and then simply adhere the cut-out over the old photo.

 

* Use some modelling paints to brush out the errant hair on the photo.

 

* Gently rub the picture of the hair with a small brillo pad thus erasing the unwanted element.

 

* Create a self portrait using the said photograph, however don't forget to leave out the hair on the painting.

 

* Try to manufacture the exact photo shot by wearing the same clothes at the same time of day, in the same spot. Make sure in this photo that there isn't a sudden gust of wind blowing your hair everywhere.

 

* Use Photoshop.

So I should either find a way to download Photoshop to my laptop, or have a wank. Understood.

Life's too short for photo editing. My advice is get yourself a can of lager and some appropriate literature and get down to it. You only live once.

I need to grow some strands of hair as well. Never mind - I just am amazed that the file was soooooo huge, like one gig? Is this right?
