Simply staggering! Bit funny as well!

I cant put it better than one of the readers of the Record:

"Indicative of the poor state of education, particularily in history, modern people are having.

The designer, proof reader and printer must ahve all seen this and no one asked a question?

What about the programme sellers, their supervisor or the person in the club who recieved the goods from the supplier?

Was there no one at the club that read the thing before it went on sale?

It must have been dozerns of people that had contact with it before it went on sale that had no idea about the image they were using, what a state of ignorance we live in?

Wonder how many had A* standard grades, highers or degrees?"

To be fair they are only normal Wehrmact Heer troops, many of whom were forced to join up just like our lads were, many of whom didnt share any of the National Socialist ideals. Its not as if they are fanatical Waffen SS troops! They were someone's son/husband/brother etc as well, and Rememberance Day should be about remembering all those who fought on both sides. Of course they are those among them, that due to their conduct during the War dont deserve our thoughts, but the majority were just normal men forced into fighting a war they didnt want to be in.

Still a bit of an error on their behalf but not as bad as some people are making it out to be!
