fleetwood Blue
When do Fleetwood play Mansfield (and KP) again? Should be fun…. Unfortunately Fleetwood have already beaten Mansfield twice and i have to say that the way KP played he will be soon in the North West Counties. slurms mckenzie
It's not that Haining and Gregan didn't get on, it's more that Haining felt aggrieved that Greegs was on a lot more money than he was.....
Frankly Mr Shankly
It's not that Haining and Gregan didn't get on, it's more that Haining felt aggrieved that Greegs was on a lot more money than he was..... And so he should have been. Gregan was immense when he came to us at first, suffered a ropey season after it but returned to his dominating form last season. Haining, as decent a defender he was, just wasn't in the same class to be fair.

Haining, as decent a defender he was, just wasn't in the same class to be fair. Personally I agree, but I though it was only fair to dispel the rumour on a previous post, that Haining and Greegs disliked each other. EDIT - has anyone followed his career closely enough to know what went wrong? A glaring error V Rangers, and giving away a very dubious penalty V Celtic aside, he did not too bad up in Scotland in the games I saw him play. He also won man of the match a few times up there.... Surely he is good enough to play in the football league? Edited January 29, 2011 by slurms mckenzie
