opinions4u
Noticed this one in the rag at work: Family Railcard free for 2 months ... then they send you a code / voucher to buy one for half price (£14) for a year. http://www.familyandfriends-railcard.co.uk/dailymail Might save a few quid on the away travel for those taking kids with them. opinions4u
Just a reminder, if you wanted to take advantage of the offer you need to act today. You should have had an email reminding you of your code. If you're not going to use your code, perhaps you should post it on here so that other Latics can save themselves £14 on a railcard and lots on their travel this season! oafcprozac
Bought mine t'other day. Great offer! We got one free with the wife's bank account, cracking deal though and boy has it saved us some money on our trip down to London for the Challenge Cup Final in two weeks time... opinions4u
It's also worth carrying a Bite Card if you're likely to spend money at station concessions (e.g. Burger King, Upper Crust, Delice de France etc). It gives you 20% off. Totally free to aply for one and I was rather pleased to get 20% off beers in the bar at Euston a few months back. http://www.bitecard.co.uk/getacard.asp?r=nc

I'd likle to think it's deliberately witty but I'm not convinced
opinions4u
There's a new offer for that knocks a tenner off the price of a Friends and Family Railcard, reducing the price to £20. If you're travelling with an under 16 it knocks 30% off most adult fares and 60% off the child fare too. Excellent for away travel. Offer ends on 1st November. http://www.familyandfriends-railcard.co.uk/?gclid=CPqo6pjzoLoCFfHKtAodPS0AIw
opinions4u
Another offer to get a Family Railcard for a tenner less than normal price: Go via this special Family & Friends Railcard link and enter the code SAVING10 before 11.59pm on Mon 24 Feb to get an annual railcard for £20 (usually £30). http://www.familyandfriends-railcard.co.uk/saving
Fyldelatic
And if you have Tesco Clubcard vouchers, £15-worth will buy you a £30 railcard (any type).

owdumer
Delice de France - the funniest advertising slogan I've seen: Cappuccino - It just tastes better in French. I'd likle to think it's deliberately witty but I'm not convinced I think it's a bit of an homage to the Aunt Bessie's ad.
