Goalkeeper! OFW?

Recommended Posts

OFW - he has been released recently and is a free agent as far as im aware.

several people seen him play regularly suprised he got released.

say he will be good for anyone at this level.

so especially us?

also he is young and not to much in the way of wages

defo worth a punt?

granted only 2 or 3 but its dale fans that are dissappointed he went.

i wouldnt be dissappointed if we signed him anyway, keeper situation is vital next year i think.

brill lost us quite a few points last year and i think we could do worse

But I think we could also do better

Think Flahaven was a far better keeper

brill was abysmal.

i would have felt better with gerrard in net.

plus with a short list of keepers id say were in a decent enough position to sign

he must be one of the top ones, allready local, young, not too expensive

and has shown he has potential to be a good keeper.

far better than brill i think, he would play understudy to a no1 in an ideal world

i just dont think we can do that financially though

its only when they make piss poor decisions like brill.

howler after howler.

coming for a catch hes never going to get,

dropping a catch he should of got all day long,

rushing 30yards out when there is no need,

if we have a decent start to the season and he has a few good games

we could easily have a trusty keeper for the season.

Agree or Disagree?

i think its worth the risk seen as there aint much else in our league

i thought brill was one of the worst in the division.

i really doubt that OFW would be anywhere near as bad as him.

i know a few dale fans (not idiots) that were genuinly surprised and dissappointed

he got released. i myself havent seen him play like joe hart or anything, i just think he may be the best we could do.

as well as not being expensive in wages, hes on a free, and he is 24yo and

he has had consistency throughout a season too.

enough id say to make it worth the risk.

Quit your jibba jabba

My best investment for years. The complete series of the A-Team.

Well that, Mr Benn, The Professionals, The Wire, Twin Peaks, Mad Men, Police Squad, State of Play (TV), Chimera, Blakes 7...

Maybe I spend too long buying DVDs off the Interweb when pissed.

Careful. You'll end up like me, ordering the entire boxed set of Jonathan Creek for no good reason at all.

Anything that keeps me from bidding on 18th Century french clocks can't be bad.

Sadly, I'm being serious. Thankfully I keep losing, but bidding £1200 every so often keeps things exciting if nothing else.

Just by chance I have an 18th Century French Clock; yours for £1195; seems as though you're a fellow 'Tic!
