Stainrod
Too many people are down today: The atmosphere was great (RRE) Latics were absolutely up for this game from the off It was a very entertaining match Latics played some very good football (partic the first 30 mins or so) We created a hatful of chances so yes, 'it was one of those days' We got to the Northern Final of the cup, let's just accept that that is pretty good I couldn't find too much fault in any of our players last night, they are league one players after all We have a good young manager After the Hartlepool game on Boxing Day we were unrecognisable in comparison. Stop bleating and support your team

Stop bleating and support your team Well said , total 100% commitment last night from every player and anybody who moans about the effort is way off the mark. Only failing last night was a calm head in and around the penalty area , even an old warhorse like Kuqi had an attack of the nerves. The occasion got to them and panic set in when the thought of grabbing the headlines was waiting. Nothing wrong with that perfomance and all the players should be proud of the effort. PD will now have a big job to rally the troops for Saturday because a bad result then would see us dragged into the scrap. The players just have to learn from it and get back to basics that they were doing at the start of the season . Lets hope the roar of the mighty 2800 souls on Saturday can help rally the cause

I think a bit of a "reflection" period after last night is allowed - chances to play at Wembley are few and far between for clubs like us. However, I expect it to be out of everyone's system by Saturday, and focus firmly on the job in-hand. oafcmetty
I've got a funny feeling we're going to tear Orient a new one on Saturday. I might even put some of my winnings* on a 4 or 5 nil home win. (*OAFC 0-1 CFC, 10/1)
