He meant every inch of it - that's no fluke. It's one of the best strikes I've seen in ages. I vaulted off the sofa when I was watching the extended highlights on sky - what a hit. His body shape, the amount of power he gets, the curl & dip - all intended to do what he did. As a January signing, Premier league wise, can anyone think of a player who has had such an immediate impact, and produced such a high standard of play right from the off? I can't. beag_teeets Posted May 3, 2012 Share Posted May 3, 2012 He meant to hit the ball at the target but I doubt whether he actually meant it to do that, great goal and probably goal of the season but I think saying he meant to bend it that much, flight it perfectly over Cech and arrow into the back of the net is pushing it.
