pukka
Voice of the football scores James Alexander Gordon is to retire after having an operation on his throat. Since I have been going to watch latics (since 1989)I've always gone to honme games with my dad. He still goes to 90% now. - Listening to sports report in his car with JAG's voice reading the scoresand the sports report theme tune have been a massive part of my day. I'm gutted he is to retire. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23434089

disjointed
How can they replace that voice, (I know they will). The music at 5 o clock and then the results read by James Alaexander Gordon. You knew wether it was a home win, away win or draw just by his tone, enjoy your retirement James, and you will be missed by millions. And most of all hope you live long and healthy after your surgery.

rudemedic
Like most people probably will, I read that in his voice. Good because that's how it is intended to be read and its certainly how I read it.
