League 1 Teams next season. What are they up to

Recommended Posts

Doncaster

Being taken over, by the crap one out of One Direction & Ex owner Ryan.

My first reaction is utter ridicule, but because of the connections with Cowell more money might flow in.

So could be a force, probably not write them off completely.

Though hopefully Dickov is still in charge until it is too late to change anything.

coventry are in trouble.

sold 400 season tickets and having more problems regarding sisu

they've had a year to sort it out, their own fault.

there's a premier league standard stadium not in use, no-one's winning. you'd think between them they'd come to a compromise.

I don't think there could be a worse club to support at present than Coventry.

If the 60% of turnover on wages rule is enforced then they will surely have the lowest budget next season.

Another team who lived beyond their means. Sure, there's an arguement that they had the potential to fill the Ricoh should they have returned to The Premier League, but the huge risk of it is now clear. The amount of money they were paying was ridiculous though.

Surely show's us that a 2500 stand, living in our means is better for us as opposed to a 20,000+ stadium which we'd be nowhere near filling.
