BP1960 Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 (edited) Up to Mr Kelly I would think. Why didn't Gordon or Matt ask him that at the manager presentation? Edited May 5, 2015 by BP1960 Quote
super_blue Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 A successful reserve team = a successful first team. Said no one ever. A reserve team is key to keeping your fringe players sharp and challenging for places. Competition increases performances everywhere and that's what consistent matches at reserve level will bring. LJ said there would be regular behind closed doors friendlies but that never happened. For me a reserve team is key to take youth players to the next level and then advance to the first team! Quote

super_blue Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Why did LJ get rid of it? I seem to remember he wanted the finance to go into first team signings rather than a reserve team. I may be wrong though... Quote
