palmer1 Posted January 28, 2016 Share Posted January 28, 2016 When he scored goals for Tranmere he wasnt playing as a target man. he was playing as striker making runs in behind and from the channels his game isnt winning headers and holding it up for others constantly. If people cant see that then he is on a hiding to nothing 19 goals in a season to nothing? doesnt even seem to get in the positions to score very often either Maybe we are using another player incorrectly. his build seems to have become a hinderance to him when it comes to the role he should fulfill IMO Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There's being used incorrectly, then there's 0 goals in almost 40 games. He may be told to play a different role to what he's suited to do but that doesn't excuse such poor figures. Lets save the public hanging of one of our players a little while longer please. I'm sure that the reason some think Cassidy is rubbish is due to the large anticipation built up on OWTB, whilst he was out with his 1st injury this season, by those who said he would be our saviour once he regained fitness.
