I'm not surprised Jones has been released. You could tell Shez wasn't convinced by him with his comments about his rib injury towards the end of the season. Personally I'd have thought he was worth keeping but Shez no doubt has someone else in mind that he thinks will be an improvement.

Gutted to lose the Jones of last season, not arsed about losing the Jones of this season.

 

When others have shown their mettle under Shez, he's still not regained what he had. A player of his ability surely will elsewhere though.

 

For me, this was the toughest decision of the poll. Goes with good wishes, anyway...

Rhys Murphy has another year

 

You're only allowed 10 questions, so Danny Byrnes was the only remaining player, so it did not seem sensible to do a whole new question just for him.

 

I take it you think we won't see Rhys Murphy again and Danny Byrnes wont be offered anything?

I agree, rightly player of the year last season. At least he lasted a year more than most winners of that accolade do.
