Magister
He was probably the smallest goalkeeper to play for Latics but played for England too. A Royton lad

Diego_Sideburns
He was aged 16 years 75 days when making his debut. Garth Dykes' book 'Oldham Athletic Complete Record 1899-1988' says without the birth-date of every player, it's impossible to establish who is the youngest, but it seems likely that Eddie is the prime candidate for the honour of being the youngest. He conceded 10 goals in his three games playing for Latics as an amateur in the 1951-52 season: Crewe (a) lost 3-1 Chester (home) won 11-2 York (away) lost 5-0.
