This is as serious a death of a public figure that those alive today we will ever see. We won't be forced to wear black or attend services etc. But normality will be on hold for a bit. No football, no bargain hunt on bbc. And there are plenty of people who will be in full support of that, probably the majority of the public if I was guessing.
