    Norwood is a proven striker but needs desperately the service from midfield plus I'd play Reid alongside him up front

    Only 2 games in and Mellon is sorting out the good from the average .At least he's trying Tollitt and Hope out which Unsworth hardly used and who kept his favourites. He now knows what we need hopefully after that dire performance and will get the same backing . I'm just glad we have him on board and got shut of Unsworth. Onwards and upwards.

    Tollitt can play well particularly when he cuts in and shoots for the top corner but has his faults Worth a go imo.

    Just listened to Mellon on the official site and he comes across as being very experienced, sincere and I'm sure the club will be proved right on choosing him He also talked about a book he's written called the First 100 Days about leadership skills and the proceeds go to help motor neurone disease which a close friend of mine died from when only 40..Anyway here's to a good game this afternoon and our fans/supporters enjoy the match.

    If I was a betting man I'd have Reid and Norwood with Fondup Willoughby and Nuttall on the bench

    Oh well someone had to play them. They are a tough team .Last time I went Fondop had a blinder and we were down to 10.Cant see many going all that way but it is one we can win.Good inside bar and food.

    Good game which could have gone either way. Glad Tollitt given a chance.Sheron poor though Considering Altrincham were unbeaten last few games this win is even better. Plenty for Mellon to consider..

    Too true.For a posh town it makes Seel Park look good. I also agree about that nightmare Tuesday night match when we were sat in a relict of a stand.

    Indeed I'd like a ticket for my mad keen son who is in the army so can't get the benefit of a ST and just back from Latvia and I will try Thursday to get him one . If not if anyone can't go please let me know .

    Indeed they have but still undefeated and he has our club to heart most fans like him as well as the players and if he gets anything like the backing Unsworth had then I'm for giving him the job .

    He's just arrived at Manchester terminal 1 and Lord Lucan on Shergar are waiting to pick him up.

    Apart from someone like Vincent today and a right fullback with pace I think we are OK.A new manager should be able to improve the rest.
