Just spotted this, some great results too since Selim left.

Nice of them to let us know he’s been there a few weeks now -

Preston? Lancashire? Preston was never a derby (Bolton, then City, now Rochdale...), and we've been in Greater Manchester for nearly 50 years (stands back and waits for the abuse from little Lancastrians who still live in pre-industrial times).
Thought Blackburn were our major enemy for many years?I live 10 minutes from Ewood and can’t bring myself to view a game when we are away for that reason

If he’s getting a game they are def going down. Horrendous footballer, playing 2-3 diva above where he should be19 hours ago, whittles left foot said:You might need a bunker to hide in shortly with comments like that.
It is incredibly harsh - not the greatest but when we have had players such as Garrity (as he was for us) Cisse, Tasdemir, Betacche - he wasn’t that bad - at least he won a tackle -

Also at St Mirren, manager Jim Goodwin given permission to talk to Aberdeen
Was he any good? I struggle to think of any positives from Penney’s side -

Or he just realised he was the latest in a long line of people thrown to the lions by the fuckwit twins -

Just read an article with dearnley and Halifax. He says he hasn't been injured once this season ..... but also goes on to say he's still not fully fit
I suppose he’s hardly going to say“I’ve been a crock since day 1 at Oldham and most days struggle to put my underpants on without pulling my hamstring but I’m committed to at least getting 10 games (not necessarily full ones) at Halifax”

Bear in mind he's in the IOM. They're a lot tougher on penalties than our courts.
See this https://www.three.fm/news/isle-of-man-news/former-footballer-handed-suspended-sentence/
This is true

No previous offences.
Unless he blew a ridiculously high amount you do not get a 5 year ban for the first time 12 months - 2 years is standard.Someone also said he was close to jail (not sure of the source) but again that takes a few times of waving your Willy at the justice system before it becomes an option for the court

I hear Ricky got a five year driving ban on the IOM. At least he didn't get jail, they're pretty strict over there. Naughty boy.
1 hour ago, redlion said:No idea but I think he was close to doing time.
13 hours ago, Mercater said:5 years, how many times has he been done? Or doesit go on the reading?
He may have a good left foot but that drinking culture carried into retirement is all fun and games in a pissed up Facebook rant but there is absolutely no excuse for drink driving the tool

Having seen absolutely nothing of Sunderland, it seems (going off social media) they were either brilliant or utterly shite under Johnson...
They've let him bring players in though and then sacked him on deadline day eve...third in the table (although 1st has 2 games in hand, 2nd has 4 games in hand) Bit of a strange one!
Not too dissimilar to us under Johnson then -

Lee Johnson sacked
I know they got battered but sacking someone when 3rd in the league shows just how fucked up football is these days- 4

Richie Wellens and Chris Taylor there today - I’d have asked them both to bring their boots

Interesting that they dont list NEBOSH As a requirement - any health and safety role demands this as a minimum- 1

So we've gone from those in the club doing good things, to the pile of shite that plays on it, and it's still on page 1. Congratulations.
maybe the good things don’t beat one pagesomeone mentioned the Community Trust - separate company nothing to do with the club
the club is fucking toxic and Sandra on the turnstiles is not going to change that - especially after today

l think we may have hijacked a well meaning thread here Chad, quite possibly in bad taste.
No disrespect intended, sorry. There is somehow some good people left at the club and l wish to publicly doff my cap in their direction.
True, the pitch still looks good despite only having the guy who thought a kettle of boiling water would get the Peterborough game on looking after it!- 1
